Design and Develpopment of a Web-Based Application with PjBL Learning Model to Improve Fiber Optic Network Installation Competence (Case Study : Class XI TKJ at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme)
Penelitian ini adalah merancang dan menghasilkan aplikasi berbasis website sebagai media pembelajaran, serta mengukur pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam instalasi jaringan fiber optik di mata pelajaran Jaringan Luas (WAN). Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain quasi-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest. Data diperoleh dari populasi siswa kelas XI TKJ 2 di SMK Negeri 1 Cerme yang berjumlah 30 siswa, serta melibatkan validator ahli dari dosen dan guru. Analisis validasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran, materi ajar, soal tes, hingga Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), memperoleh nilai validitas yang sangat tinggi, masing-masing sebesar 85%, 94%, 96%, dan 86%. Rata-rata keseluruhan mencapai 90,25%, mengindikasikan produk ini sangat layak digunakan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,001 > 0,05, yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara penggunaan aplikasi berbasis website dan peningkatan kinerja siswa dalam tes psikomotorik. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi ini dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa dalam instalasi jaringan fiber optik.
This research is to design and produce a website-based application as a learning medium, as well as measuring the effect of a project-based learning model in increasing student competency in installing fiber optic networks in the Wide Network (WAN) subject. This research combines the Research and Development (R&D) method with a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Data was obtained from the population of class XI TKJ 2 students at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme, totaling 30 students, and involving expert validators from lecturers and teachers. Validation analysis shows that learning media, teaching materials, test questions, and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), obtained very high validity values, respectively 85%, 94%, 96% and 86%. The overall average reached 90.25%, indicating this product is very suitable for use. The results of hypothesis testing show that the significance value obtained is 0.001 > 0.05, which indicates that there is a very strong relationship between the use of website-based applications and increased student performance in psychomotor tests. Thus, it is concluded that the use of this application with project-based learning can effectively improve students' psychomotor skills in fiber optic network installation.
