Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji (1) pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak, (2)  pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak.

Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest, yang disertai dengan pengujian hipotesis dan melibatkan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK PKK Ika Karya Bhakti dan TK PKK Wijaya Kusuma I Kecamatan Maron Kabupaten Probolinggo pada anak kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes kemampuan kognitif dan motorik kasar. Uji statistic yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas dengan menggunakan korelasi Product Moment, uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach’s, uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov, serta uji hipotesis pertama dan hipotesis kedua dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test dengan bantuan SPSS 22.00 for Windows Evaluation Version.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak, hal ini terbukti dari hasil  Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test sebesar -5,938 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05, (2) ada pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar anak, hal ini terbukti dari hasil  Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test sebesar -5,977 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui: (1) ada pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B, (2) ada pengaruh permainan tradisional pindan gonnung terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar anak kelompok B. dengan demikian kegiatan permainan tradisional pindan gonnung dapat digunakan untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun untuk menstimulus perkembangan kognitif dan motorik kasar anak.

This study aims to examine (1) the influence of traditional gonnung game on children's cognitive abilities, (2) the influence of traditional gonnung games on children's gross motor skills.

The method of this research is an experiment with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest, which is accompanied by testing hypotheses and involving two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. This research was conducted at PKK Ika Karya Bhakti Kindergarten and PKK TK Wijaya Kusuma I, Maron Sub-District, Probolinggo District in group B children. Data collection techniques used a test sheet of gross cognitive and motor skills. The test statistic used in this study is the validity test using Product Moment correlation, reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha, normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, and the first hypothesis test and the second hypothesis by using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test with the help of SPSS 22.00 for Windows Evaluation Version .

The results showed that (1) there was the influence of traditional gonnung game on children's cognitive development, this was evident from the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test of -5.938 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0,000 which means less than 0.05, (2) there is the influence of traditional gonnung game on the gross motoric development of children, this is evident from the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test of -5,977 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0,000 which means less than 0.05.

Based on the results of the study, it can be seen: (1) there is the influence of the traditional game of gonnung on the cognitive development of group B children, (2) there is the influence of the traditional game gindung gon to the gross motoric development of children in group B. Thus traditional gonnung pindan activities can be used for children ages 5-6 years to stimulate gross cognitive and motoric development of children.
