PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR IPS BERMUATAN KARAKTER BUDAYA SUROBOYO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD

Proses pengembangan buku ajar IPS bermuatan karakter budaya lokal Suroboyo untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD menggunakan model Four-D. Model ini terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu tahap pendefinisian, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap penyebaran. Kevalidan buku ajar dilakukan dengan melakukan penilaian berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli desain. Rata-rata hasil validasi ahli materi yaitu 3,38 atau 84,52 % dengan kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata validasi ahli desain yaitu 3,95 atau 98,75 % dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil pre test 9 siswa (24 %) dinyatakan tuntas, dan 28 siswa (76 %) tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil post test 34 siswa (92 %) dinyatakan tuntas, dan 3 siswa (8%) tidak tuntas. Hasil analisis N Gain yaitu terdapat 7 siswa (19 %) dengan N Gain berkategori sedang dan 30 siswa (81 % ) berkategori tinggi. Dari hasil pre test dan post test sekaligus N Gain terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan buku ajar IPS bermuatan karakter budaya lokal Surabaya.
Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Pengembangan Buku Ajar IPS Bermuatan Karakter Budaya Suroboyo untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SD yang dikembangkan layak dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sekolah dasar.

The process of developing social studies textbooks containing the character of the local culture of Suroboyo to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students use the Four-D model. This model consists of four stages, the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage and the deployment stage. The validity of the textbook is carried out by conducting an assessment based on the validation of the material expert and the design expert. The average result of material expert validation is 3.38 or 84.52% with a very feasible category. The average design expert validation is 3.95 or 98.75% with a very feasible category too. Based on the results of the pre-test of 9 students (24%) were declared complete, and 28 students (76%) were not complete. Based on the post test results, 34 students (92%) were declared complete, and 3 students (8%) were not complete. The results of the N Gain analysis are that there are 7 students (19%) with N Gain in the medium category and 30 students (81%) in the high category. From the results of the pre-test and post-test as well as N Gain, there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after using social studies textbooks containing the characters of Surabaya's local culture.
The results of the study concluded that the Development of Social Studies Textbooks Containing Suroboyo Cultural Characters to Improve Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Elementary School Students which was developed was feasible with valid, practical, and effective criteria to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.
