PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR
APPLICATION OF THE GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL TO INCREASE LEARNING MOTIVATION
Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada materi energi dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan melibatkan 20 peserta didik kelas VII-E SMP Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode angket. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket motivasi belajar. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata N-Gain score sebesar 0,68 pada kriteria sedang. Hasil uji Wilxocon menunjukan skor signifikansi < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil, penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar.

The purpose of the study was to describe the effect of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by word sheet student to increase students' motivation to learn about energy in life. This research is a descriptive study involving 20 students of class VII-E SMP Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is pre-experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design with purposive sampling technique. Research data collection was carried out using the questionnaire method. The instrument used was a learning motivation questionnaire. Hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis and discussion showed that there was an increase in students' learning motivation with an average N-Gain score of 0.68 on medium criteria. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significance score of <0.05, which means that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by word sheet student is to increase learning motivation
