Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media poster berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Joho Pace. Pendekatan CTL diterapkan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan berbicara. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 2 Joho Pace, Nganjuk, dengan subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas V, guru, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes keterampilan berbicara. Instrumen penelitian mencakup lembar validasi ahli, angket kepraktisan untuk guru dan siswa, serta instrumen penilaian keefektifan. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan skala Likert dan persentase kelayakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media poster yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh ahli materi dan media dengan skor rata-rata di atas 80%, praktis berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa dengan persentase kepraktisan di atas 85%, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor rata-rata tes berbicara dari 72% menjadi 87%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media poster berbasis CTL terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Saran yang diberikan adalah guru dapat mengintegrasikan media poster ini dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia secara rutin dan menyesuaikan konten dengan konteks lokal untuk hasil yang lebih optimal.

This study aims to develop poster media based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to enhance the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Joho Pace. The CTL approach is implemented to create learning experiences relevant to students’ daily lives, thereby increasing motivation and speaking proficiency. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Joho Pace, Nganjuk, with research subjects including fifth-grade students, teachers, media experts, and material experts. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and speaking skill tests. Research instruments comprised expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires for teachers and students, and effectiveness assessment tools. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using a Likert scale and feasibility percentages. The results indicate that the developed poster media was deemed valid by material and media experts with an average score above 80%, practical based on teacher and student responses with a practicality percentage above 85%, and effective in improving students’ speaking skills, as evidenced by an increase in the average speaking test score from 72% to 87%. The study concludes that the CTL-based poster media is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ speaking skills. It is recommended that teachers regularly integrate this poster media into Indonesian language instruction and adapt its content to local contexts for optimal results.
