KELAYAKAN LKPD BERBASIS STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATEMATHICS) PADA SUB MATERI ENERGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS
FEASIBILITY OF STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATEMATHICS) BASED STUDENT WORKSHEETS IN ENERGY SUB MATERIAL TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan LKPD berbasis STEM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, dan Evaluation. Desain penelitian menggunakan One Grup Pretest Postest Design. Subjek penelitian yaitu 33 peserta didik kelas VII L di SMPN 21 Surabaya. Skor pretest dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan N gain score. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu validitas LKPD mendapatkan skor 5 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Kepraktisan LKPD ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model PjBL STEM secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor 5 dengan kriteria terlaksana dengan sangat baik, dan hasil aktivitas peserta didik dengan persentase tertinggi sebesar 24,30% pada aktivitas merancang, membuat, dan melakukan percobaan proyek sederhana Wind Up Car. Keefektifan LKPD ditinjau dari hasil pretest memperoleh rata rata sebesar 41,09 dan hasil posttest memperoleh rata rata sebesar 73,51 dengan rata rata skor N gain sebesar 0,56 (kategori sedang). Persentase N gain dengan kategori tinggi diperoleh sebesar 24,24% dan kategori sedang sebesar 75,76%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik mengalami peningkatan pada setiap indikator, peningkatan tertinggi pada Advanced clarification sebesar 50,76%, Elementary clarification sebesar 22,28%, Basic support sebesar 1,36%, Inference sebesar 45,15%, dan Strategies and tactics sebesar 40,15%. Rata rata hasil respon terhadap LKPD diperoleh 88,49% dengan kategori sangat layak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian yaitu LKPD berbasis STEM dinyatakan layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. LKPD STEM yang diimplementasikan dengan model pembelajaran yang tepat menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran dalam mendukung keaktifan peserta didik dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.

This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of STEM based student worksheets to improve critical thinking. The research method using the ADDIE development model include Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation stages. Research design uses One Group Pretest Postest. Research subjects were 33 students of class VII L at Junior High School 21 Surabaya. Pretest and posttest analyzed using N gain scores. The results obtained are validity of student worksheets get score 5 with very valid criteria. Practicality Student worksheets in implementation of PjBL STEM learning overall get score 5 with very well criteria, and the highest percentage of 24.30% in designing, making, and simple project experiments Wind Up Car. The effectiveness of student worksheets in pretest results get average of 41.09 and the posttest results get average of 73,51 with average N gain score of 0.56 (medium category). The percentage of N gain with high category was 24.24% and the medium category was 75.76%. Students critical thinking skills have increased in each indicator, the highest increase in Advanced clarification is 50.76%, Elementary clarification is 22.28%, Basic support is 1.36%, Inference is 45.15%, and Strategies and tactics is 40.15%. The average results of responses to student worksheets obtained 88.49% with a very well category. The conclusion of the study is STEM based student worksheets are declared feasible to improve critical thinking skills. STEM student worksheets that implemented with the suitable learning model become one of the learning alternatives to support the activeness of students and improve critical thinking skills.
