Sports
Activities are activities carried out in a planned, structured, systematic and
carried out in a sustainable manner. Someone who does sports must pay attention
to several factors including the intensity of the exercise used, the frequency
of exercises, duration, and the type of exercise used. In this study, the aim
is to find out the ratio of pulse rate, hydration status, and the number of
calories in sub-maximal activity using music and without music.
The method used is quantitative
with a descriptive approach using ten research subjects, selected by purposive
sampling. The data sought in this study are pulse data, hydration status and
number of calories. Data analysis techniques used are the mean, standard
deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, paired t-test, independent samples
t-test.
The results of
this study were that there was no significant difference between the groups
using music and without using music on exercise pulse and recovery pulse (p>
0.05). There was no significant difference between groups using music and
without using music on hydration status (p> 0.05). There was no significant
difference between the groups using music and without using music on the number
of calories expended (p> 0.05).
