Abstrak

    Karya sastra mempunyai sumber pencitraan dengan suatu keindahan yakni sebuah pandangan

tentang kehidupan pada lingkungan sosial. Penyebab pandangan tersebut bisa terjadi karena pengarang

tidak luput dari kelompok sosial pada masyarakat tertentu. Karya sastra yang baik dan benar ialah sastra

yang tidak hanya merekam kenyataan yang ada pada masyarakat tetapi juga pada pengarang tersebut.

Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis penggunaan diksi dan gaya bahasa berdasarkan langsung

tidaknya makna khususnya gaya bahasa retoris dalam lagu album Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liú xīng yǔ

karya Flower Four (F4). Album lagu Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liú xīng yǔ ini adalah album pertama

yang diciptakan oleh Flower Four (F4). Album ini menjulang tinggi pada industri permusikan di tahun

2001. Adapun rumusan masalah yang terletak pada penelitian ini adalah 1) Bagaimana diksi yang

terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ Karya Flower Four (F4)? 2)

Bagaimana gaya bahasa retoris yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ

Karya Flower Four (F4)?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni 1) Mendeskripsikan diksi yang terdapat dalam

lirik lagu album Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ Karya Flower Four (F4). 2) Mendeskripsikan gaya

bahasa retoris yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Meteor Rain 《流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ Karya Flower

Four (F4). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan

pendekatan analisis stilistika. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh berupa kata, frase atau kalimat dari lirik

lagu yang terdapat diksi dan gaya bahasa didalamnya. Adapun untuk memperoleh data tersebut

digunakan metode simak dan teknik catat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) diksi yang digunakan yakni

diksi konotatif, denotatif, umum, konkret, khusus, abstrak, dan diksi populer. 2) gaya bahasa retoris yang

digunakan yakni gaya bahasa hiperbola, tautologi, paradoks, pleonasme, koreksio, litotes, silepsis, dan

gaya bahasa histeron proteton. Diksi yang mendominasi pada penelitian ini ialah diksi konotatif,

denotatif, dan diksi umum. Adapun gaya bahasa retoris yang mendominasi ialah hiperbola, tautologi, dan

gaya bahasa paradoks.

Abstract

    Literary works have a source of imaging with a beauty that is a view of life in the social

environment.The cause of this view can occur because the author is not spared from social groups in

certain communities. A good and right literary work is literature that not only records the reality that

exists in society but also in the author. This study focuses on analyzing the use of diction and language

style based on the direct or indirect meaning of rhetorical language in the Meteor Rain album 《流星雨

》 liú xīng yǔ by Flower Four (F4). Meteor Rain's album 《流星雨》 liú xīng yǔ is the first album

created by Flower Four (F4). This album soared to the discussion industry in 2001. The formulation of

the problem that lies in this study are 1) How diction contained in the lyrics of the Meteor Rain album 《

流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ by Flower Four (F4)? 2) What rhetorical language contained in the song lyrics of

the album Meteor Rain 《流星 雨》 liúxīngyǔ by Flower Four (F4) ?. The purpose of this study are 1)

Describe diction contained in the lyrics of the Meteor Rain album《流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ by Flower

Four (F4). 2) Describe rhetorical language style contained in the song lyrics of the album Meteor Rain 《

流星雨》 liúxīngyǔ by Flower Four (F4). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative

method with a statistical analysis approach. The data in this study were obtained in the form of words,

phrases or sentences from the song lyrics contained in diction and language style in them. As for

obtaining the data used refer to the method of note and note technique. The results of this study are: 1)

diction used is connotative, denotative, general, concrete, special, abstract, and popular diction. 2) the

rhetorical style used is hyperbole, tautology, paradox, pleonasme, correctiono, litotes, silepsis, and

hysteron proteton style. The dominating diction in this research is connotative, denotative, and general

diction. The rhetorical style that dominates is hyperbole, tautology, and paradoxical language style.
