Motivasi belajar yaitu rangkaian usaha yang dapat mengakibatkan dorongan dalam diri individu maupun dari luar, untuk melakukan suatu tindakan belajar, sedangkan konseling realita merupakan suatu konseling yang menekankan pada realita masa sekarang, serta kesadaran dalam bertanggung jawab terhadap dirinya sendiri tanpa merugikan dirinya ataupun orang lain. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji ada peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan konseling realita.
Metode penelitian yaitu kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yaitu menggunakan pre experimental one group pre test post test. Pelaksanaan penelitian diadakan di SMP Negeri 29 Gresik pada kelas VII. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu lima siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Gresik yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan angket. Lima siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah diberikan perlakuan berupa konseling kelompok dan diberikan post test. Setelah itu hasilnya diuji menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan bantuan SPSS.
Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu Asymp.Sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0.043, sehingga 0.043 0.05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan konseling realita
Learning motivation is a series of efforts that can lead to encouragement within the individual and from outside, to do an act of learning, while reality counseling is a counseling that emphasizes the reality of the present, and awareness of being responsible for himself without harming himself or others . This study aims to test whether there is an increase in student motivation between before and after the application of reality counseling. This type of research is included in the type of experimental research.
The research design is to use pre experimental one group pre test post test. The research was conducted at 29 Gresik Middle School in class VII. The subjects of this study were five eighth grade students of SMPN 29 Gresik who had low learning motivation. Data collection technique are using a questionnaire. Five students who had low learning motivation were given treatment in the form of group counseling and were given a post test. After that the results were tested using the Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSSThe research method is quantitative. This type of research is included in the type of experimental research.
The results obtained are Asymp.Sig (2 tailed) of 0.043 , so that 0.043 0.05, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation between before and after the application of reality counseling.
