Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif) menggunakan model cycle learning 5E dan media game untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP pada materi pesawat sederhana. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut diujicobakan kepada 38 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model 4D. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) validitas perangkat pembelajaran berkategori valid; (2) RPP terlaksana dengan baik; aktivitas siswa menunjukkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa; (3) respon siswa positif terhadap proses pembelajaran, kelas mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar dengan skor peningkatan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil dan diskusi penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA SMP dengan model cycle learning 5E dan media game yang dikembangkan pada materi pesawat sederhana layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif ) digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This research is aimed to get the proper, practical, and effective equipment of Science Teaching by using Learning Cycle 5E to improve the study result of junior high school students on the material of simple device. The equipment is tested to 15 (fifteen) students of eight grade in SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya on 2015/2016 lesson year. The research is a developing one by adapting 4D Model. The data is analyzed by descriptive qualitative technique. The result of the research shows: (1) the validity of the teaching equipment has valid category; (2) the application of Lesson Plan has good category; the teaching process is on student center; (3) the teaching process has the positive student response, the thoroughness of study in the high increasing score. Based on the research result and discussion can be stated that the equipment of Science Teaching on the Material of Simple Device by using Learning Cycle 5E is properly, practically, and effectively used in teaching and learning process.
