AKTIVITAS YOGA UNTUK IMUNITAS TUBUH ANAK SPEKTRUM AUTIS MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
YOGA ACTIVITIES FOR IMMUNITY OF AUTISTIC SPECTRUM CHILDREN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The characteristics of autistic spectrum children who are sensitive to changes in routine after coronavirus disease are designated as Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) have an impact on the development of autism children's health. Therefore, it takes fun physical activity and relaxes the body in order to maintain immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of them with yoga activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of improving immunity through yoga activities in children with autism spectrum during the covid-19 pandemic. The type of data analysis used is descriptive qualitative with literature review research method. After reviewing the data source, it was obtained that yoga activity can activate the body's immune system through the process of activating the thymus gland located in the area between the heart and sternum. The thymus gland produces T‐Cells, a heterogeneous group of cells essential in protecting the body against invasion by foreign organisms. So if yoga is applied it can provide benefits for physical, psychic, and spiritual enhancement. Thus, it improves endurance, stability, and balance.
