Pelayanan administrasi kependudukan, memiliki peran penting dalam mencatat dan mengelola data kependudukan suatu wilayah termasuk penerbitan akta kematian, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pelayanan akta kematian di Desa Purwosari Kecamatan Purwosari Kabupaten Bojonegoro, dengan fokus pada proses yang dilakukan oleh warga dalam memperoleh akta kematian dan mengetahui efektivitas pelayanan oleh [emerintah desa.

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah warga Desa Purwosari, petugas  yang terlibat dalam proses pelayanan administrasi kependudukan dan kepala desa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pelayanan akta kematian, mengetahui proses yang dilakukan, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dan mengevaluasi hasil dari pelayanan tersebut.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pelayanan akta kematian di Desa Purwosari secara umum sudah berjalan dengan baik. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya sarana yang dimiliki, pemahaman warga tentang persyaratan yang diperlukan. Efektivitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh petugas administrasi kependudukan dinilai cukup baik, meskipun terdapat kekurangan untuk perbaikan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penambahan sarana yang kurang, peningkatan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya memiliki akta kematian. Selain itu, disarankan pula agar kalau sudah jadi akta kematian kalau memungkinkan untuk diantar ke pemohon.

Population administration services, have an important role in recording and managing population data of an area including the issuance of death certificates, This study aims to describe the effectiveness of death certificate services in Purwosari Village, Purwosari District, Bojonegoro Regency, focusing on the process carried out by residents in obtaining death certificates and knowing the effectiveness of services by the village government.

This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The respondents in this study were residents of Purwosari Village, officers involved in the process of population administration services and village heads. The collected data is analyzed descriptively to describe the effectiveness of death certificate services, know the process carried out, identify obstacles faced and evaluate the results of the service.

The results showed that the effectiveness of death certificate services in Purwosari Village in general has been running well. However, there are some obstacles such as lack of facilities owned, understanding of residents about the necessary requirements. The effectiveness of services provided by population administration officers is considered quite good, although there are shortcomings for improvement. Based on these findings, this study recommends adding less facilities, increasing socialization about the importance of having a death certificate. In addition, it is also recommended that if it becomes a death certificate if possible to be delivered to the applicant.
