DAMPAK SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT PASCA REVITALISASI AREA PENDUKUNG MAKAM SUNAN GIRI TAHUN 2012-2014
Kompleks makam Sunan Giri merupakan suatu kompleks cagar budaya yang harus dilindungi kelestarian bangunannya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemugaran untuk merwat dan menjaga kelestarian bangunan cagar budaya di kompleks makam Sunan Giri. Untuk penataan kompleks makam Sunan Giri, maka dilakukan revitalisasi yang diprakarsai pemerintah kabupatenGresik yang diwakili oleh DR. H. Mochammad qosim, M.Si. MOh selaku wakil bupati periode 2010-2015. Revitalisasi dilakukan sebagai upaya menjaga aspek kereligian Sunan Giri dan aspek kesakralan makam Sunan Giri, karena banyaknya pedagang yang menempati trap-trap tangga menuju makam Sunan Giri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1. Apa latar belakang revitalisasi area pendukung Makam Sunan Giri? 2. Bagaimana proses revitalisasi dan dampak sosial ekonomi masyarakat pasca revitalisasi tersebut?. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari heuristik,kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan heuristik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa revitalisasi kompleks makam Sunan Giri membawa perubahan baik di bidang sosial-ekonomi masyarakat Giri, terutama pedagang di kompleks makam yang awalnya berada di tangga direlokasi menuju stand yang disediakan, yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan di tahun pertama, dan berangsur stabil ditahun berikutnya.

The Sunan Giri tomb complex is a cultural heritage complex whose buildings must be preserved. Therefore, restoration is needed to maintain and preserve the cultural heritage buildings in the Sunan Giri tomb complex. To arrange the Sunan Giri grave complex, revitalization was carried out which was initiated by the Gresik district government represented by DR. H. Mochammad Qosim, M.Sc. MOh as deputy regent for the 2010-2015 period. The revitalization was carried out as an effort to maintain the religious aspects of Sunan Giri and the sacred aspects of Sunan Giri's grave, because many traders occupy the stairwells leading to Sunan Giri's grave. The objectives of this research are: 1. What is the background to the revitalization of the supporting area of the Sunan Giri Tomb? 2. What is the revitalization process and the socio-economic impact of the community after the revitalization? The methods used in this research consist of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and heuristics. The results of this research explain that the revitalization of the Sunan Giri tomb complex brought good changes in the socioeconomic field of the Giri community, especially traders in the tomb complex who were initially located on the stairs and were relocated to the stands provided, who experienced a decline in income in the first year, and gradually stabilized in the next year.
