POWTOON INNOVATION AS A LEARNING MEDIA IN THE BASIC SUBJECT OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING CLASS X TKR SMK YASMU
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kelayakan pengembangan media pembelajaran powtoon, dan menganalisa respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran powtoon pada mata pelajaran DTO. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Yasmu dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian R&D (Research and Development), menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ketiga saja yaitu tahap pengembangan (develop), karena disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian yaitu hanya pada prototype saja. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, serta angket respon siswa. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif persentase menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran powtoon Sangat Layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh persentase nilai validasi oleh para ahli dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Respon siswa mendapat respon positif dan diperoleh nilai dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Dapat disimpulkan, media pembelajaran powtoon yang dikembangkan mendapat kategori “Sangat Baik” dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran DTO pada kelas X TKR di SMK Yasmu Manyar Gresik.

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of developing powtoon learning media, and analyze student responses to powtoon learning media in DTO subjects. The research was conducted at Yasmu Vocational School with the research subjects being students of the Light Vehicle Engineering Skills Program. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method, using a 4D development model which consists of 4 stages, but in this research it only reaches the third stage, namely the development stage, because it is adapted to research needs, namely only on prototypes. The research instruments used consisted of validation sheets from material experts, media experts, and student response questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive percentage using a Likert scale. The research results show that the Powtoon learning media is very suitable for use. Based on the research results, a percentage of validation scores was obtained by experts with the criteria "Very Eligible". The student's response received a positive response and a score was obtained with the criteria "Very Decent". It can be concluded that the powtoon learning media developed received the "Very Good" category and can be used in learning DTO subjects in class X TKR at Yasmu Manyar Gresik Vocational School.
