SOCIAL INTERACTION OF AUTISTIC STUDENTS IN THE INCLUSIVE SCHOOL
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial siswa autis dengan siswa autis, siswa berkebutuhan khusus lain, teman regular sekelas, guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui: observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik membercheck. Hasil penelitian di SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Interaksi antar sesama siswa autis masih kaku; (2) Interaksi siswa autis dengan siswa berkebutuan khusus lainnya sangat bagus; (3) Interaksi siswa autis dengan teman biasa sekelas sudah cukup bagus; (4) Interaksi siswa autis dengan guru juga sudah cukup bagus; dan (5) Interaksi siswa autis dengan tenaga kependidikan masih kaku. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial siswa autis telah menunjukkan positif di lingkungan SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya.
The purpose of this study was to describe the social interactions between autistic students and autistic students, students with other special needs, regular classmates, teachers and education staff. This research uses qualitative research methods with qualitative descriptive research. Data obtained through: observation and interviews. The data obtained were then analyzed using the membercheck technique. The results of research at SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya show that: (1) Interaction between autistic students is still rigid; (2) The interaction between students with autism and other special needs students was very good; (3) The interaction between autistic students and classmates is good enough; (4) The interaction between autistic students and teachers is also quite good; and (5) The interaction between autistic students and education staff is still rigid. Based on these findings, it shows that the social interaction of autistic students has shown positive results in the environment of SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya.
