This
research is based on the low psychomotor values of students in grades X and XI
in the subject of technical drawing. This is due to students exhibiting passive
behavior and lack of confidence, resulting in a lack of motivation for
enthusiastic learning. This condition leads to students having difficulty
understanding the construction drawing techniques.
The
objectives of this research are to determine the implementation of learning
using the STAD method assisted by 2D AutoCAD Video Tutorials, assess students'
responses to motivation, the learning method, and the media used. Additionally,
the research aims to identify the differences in student learning outcomes
using the STAD method assisted by 2D AutoCAD video tutorials compared to the
PBL learning method.
The
research employed a quantitative True Experimental Design type with a
Posttest-Only Control Design. The study took place at SMK Negeri 1 Kemlagi,
with a population of 65 students in the XI DPIB major. The sample size was 27
students for each class, with DPIB 1 as the control group and DPIB 3 as the
experimental group.
The
research findings indicate that: 1) the implementation of learning is
considered effective with an achievement rate of 80.37%, 2) students gave
positive responses to the method and media used, demonstrating motivation in
learning, with an achievement rate of 89.42%, 3) there is a difference in
student learning outcomes using the STAD method compared to the PBL method,
with an improvement in learning outcomes using the STAD method.
