DHEKAHAN TRADITION AT THE TOMB OF MBAH NYIA SYARIFAH ING TEBUWUNG VILLAGE, DUKUN SUBDISTRICT, GRESIK REGENCY
The dhekahan tradition at Mbah Nyai Syarifah's grave is a semi-oral floklore that is still practiced by the people of Tebuwung Village, Dukun District, Gresik Regency. The dhekahan tradition at the grave of Mbah Nyai Syarifah is carried out to express gratitude to Allah Almighty for what has been given and to honor Mbah Nyai Syarifah as an elder from Tebuwung Village. The formulation of this research problem is how it started, the sequence of events, ubarampe and its meaning, function, and how to preserve it. This research has the benefit of being useful for anyone so they can increase their knowledge. Experience of culture as well as knowledge of dhekahan traditions. Apart from that, it is also useful for preserving the culture that has grown in an area. This research team uses the half-oral flocculation theory, namely a scientific study that discusses the tradition of James Danandjaja. This research discussing the dhekahan tradition uses a qualitative descriptive method. The object used is the dhekahan tradition at the grave of Mbah Nyai Syarifah. This research was carried out at the grave of Mbah Nyai Syarifah, precisely in Tebuwung Village, Dukun District, Gresik Regency. The data sources used are primary data in the form of interviews with the caretaker and village elders and secondary data in the form of interviews with residents of Tebuwung Village. This research uses interview, observation and documentation techniques to collect data on the dhekahan tradition. For the analysis technique used, Creswell's theory is used. The stages are data organization, data reduction, and data presentation. And finally regarding the validity of the data using Bungin's theory, namely using triangulation. Here it is divided into four, namely research committee triangulation, method triangulation, theory triangulation, and data source triangulation.
