Hubungan antara Work Engagement dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior pada Guru
The Relationship between Work Engagement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Teachers
Guru merupakan ujung tombak dari terlaksananya pendidikan yang efektif di sekolah. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional yang melibatkan 68 guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan X. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat ukur pada penelitian ini adalah skala work engagement dan skala organizational citizenship behavior. Setelah data diperoleh, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson prodct moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi data sebesar 0.00 (p<0.05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.739 (r=0.739) yang artinya terdapat hubungan kuat antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada guru. Nilai koefisien korelasi juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan searah yang berarti semakin tinggi work engagement, maka semakin tinggi pula organizational citizenship behavior pada kalangan guru.
Teachers play a part as the spearhead for the implementation of effective education in schools. The purpose of conducting this research is to determine the relationship between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. This research used a correlational quantitative approach involving 68 Senior High School teachers in District X. The instrument that used as measuring tools in this research were: the work engagement scale and organizational citizenship behavior scale. After the data was obtained, analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The result of data analysis shown a data significance value of 0.00 (p<0.05) and correlation coefficient value of 0.739 (r=0.739), which means there is strong relationship between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior in teachers. The correlation coefficients value also shows that the two variabels have a unidirectional relationship which means that the higher the work engagement, the higher the organizational citizenship behavior among teachers.
