MINAT SISWA TERHADAP CABANG OLAHRAGA PETANQUE DI SMK YPM 5 SUKODONO

STUDENTS' INTEREST IN PETANQUE SPORT AT SMK YPM 5 SUKODONO

Aktivitas fisik seperti olahraga sering kali dilakukan guna untuk menyehatkan tubuh, mengisi waktu luang, dan tidak jarang sebagai kegiatan kompetitif. Kegiatan olahraga di negeri ini berkembang pesat, sehingga tidak heran masyarakatnya juga banyak yang menggemari kegiatan olahraga. Utamanya olahraga yang mudah, murah, dan menyenangkan seperti cabang olahraga petanque. Olahraga ini masuk ke Indonesia pada tahun 2018 dan kini semakin berkembang karena cabang olahraga petanque sangat sederhana dan mudah dilakukan. Termasuk olahraga baru di Indonesia, petanque memiliki prospek kedepan yang sangat terbuka lebar bagi mereka yang ingin berkecimpung di dalam cabang olahraga petanque. Untuk meningkatkan keminatan terhadap cabang olahraga petanque, banyak unsur dan faktor yang mempengaruhi. Oleh sebab itu minat tidak dapat datang dengan sendirinya, perlu stimulus untuk menumbuhkan minat seseorang seperti faktor perhatian, perasaan senang, aktivitas, pelatih, sarana prasarana, keluarga, dan lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui minat siswa SMK YPM 5 Sukodono terhadap cabang olahraga petanque dan faktor yang mendominasi minat siswa itu sendiri terhadap cabang olahraga petanque. Sehingga, sasaran dari penelitian ini ialah  siswa kelas X dam XI SMK YPM 5 Sukodono dengan menggunakan desaian penelitian berupa kuantitatif deskriptif dan angket minat siswa sebagai alat pengumpul datanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan minat siswa SMK YPM 5 Sukodono terhadap cabang olahraga petanque sebanyak 61,71% dari 317 responden. Faktor perhatian menjadi faktor yang mendominasi dengan persentase mencapai 65,85%. Namun, faktor dengan persentase terendah adalah faktor sarana prasarana 59,84%, lingkungan 59,19%, dan keluarga 58,80%.

Physical activity such as sports is often used to improve body health, filling free time, and not infrequently as a competitive activity. Sports activities in the country are growing rapidly, so it is not surprising that many people also like sports activities. Especially the type of sport that is easy, cheap, and fun like petanque sports. This sport entered Indonesia in 2018 and it is growing increasingly now because petanque is the type of sport that is very simple and easy to do. Including new sports in Indonesia, petanque has a very wide open prospect for those who want to be involved in Petanque sports. To increase interest in petanque, many elements and factors influence it. Therefore, interest cannot come by itself, it needs a stimulus to grow one's interest such as attention factors, feelings of pleasure, activities, trainers, infrastructure, family, and the environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the interest of SMK YPM 5 Sukodono students in petanque sports and the factors that dominate the students' interest in petanque sports. Therefore, the target of this study is graded X and XI of SMK YPM 5 Sukodono students by using descriptive quantitative research designs and student interest questionnaires as data collection tools. The results of this study found that the interest of SMK YPM 5 Sukodono students in petanque sports was 61.71% of 317 respondents. The attention factor is the dominating factor with a percentage reaching 65.85%. However, the factors with the lowest percentage are infrastructure factors 59.84%, environment 59.19%, and family 58.80%.
