PERANCANGAN BUKU SAKU SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR MATA PELAJARAN HUMAS DAN KEPROTOKOLAN KELAS XI OTKP 2 DI SMKN 1 BOJONEGORO

DESIGN OF POCKET BOOKS AS TEACHING MATERIALS OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PROTOCOL STUDY FOR CLASS XI OTKP 2 AT SMKN 1 BOJONEGORO

Buku saku adalah buku berukuran kecil, praktis dan ringan yang berisi bahan atau informasi yang ringkas dan terdapat gambar yang menarik. Karena ukuran buku saku yang kecil mudah dibawa dan bisa dibaca dimana saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan buku saku sebagai bahan ajar Humas dan Protokoler kelas XI OTKP 2 SMKN 1 Bojonegoro. Pengembangan yang akan digunakan adalah pengembangan model 4D dari Thiagarajan yang telah disesuaikan. Langkah-langkah yang akan dilakukan adalah definine, design, namun untuk tahap development dan desseminate tidak akan dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan buku saku memiliki beberapa tahapan untuk tahap definisi: 1) analisis awal yang meliputi analisis kemampuan awal siswa, analisis konsep, analisis tugas dan perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, 2) tahap perancangan meliputi perancangan bahan dan desain awal buku saku. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana proses mendefinisikan buku saku sebagai instrumen dan mendeskripsikan desain atau disegn awal buku saku sebagai objek realitas dan protokol masyarakat. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti berharap agar peneliti selanjutnya dapat melanjutkan ke tahap selanjutnya agar tercipta produk yang valid yang dapat dicicipi pada mahasiswa.

A pocket book is a small sized book , practical and light that contains concise material or information and there are interesting pictures. Because the small size of the pocket book is easy to carry and can be read anywhere. This research aims to describe the process of development pocket books as teaching materials for Public Relations and Protocol class XI OTKP 2 SMKN 1 Bojonegoro. The development that will be used is 4D models development  from Thiagarajan which has been ajusted. The steps that will be done are definine, design, but for the  development and desseminate step will not be done because of the researcher's time and cost limitations. The results showed that the process of development a pocket book has several steps for the definition stage: 1) initial analysis which includes analysis initial abilities of students, concept analysis, task analysis and the formulation of learning objectives, 2) the design phase includes designing the material and initial design of the pocket book. The result of this study illustrates how to process defines a pocket book as an instrument and describes the design or initial disegn of a pocket book as an object of public realtions and protocol. In this study researchers hope that the next researchers will be able to continue to the next stage in order to create valid produk that can be tasted on students
