Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran kearsipan kelas X OTKP di SMKN 10 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2018/2019.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain kuasi (quasi experimental design) bentuk pre-test – post-test control group design. Dilakukan pada seluruh siswa di kelas X OTKP 1 (eksperimen) dan X OTKP 2 (kontrol). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Kemudian untuk menghimpun data digunakan instrumen yakni lembar soal pre-test post-test dan dokumentasi. Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketuntasan belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Pada kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 62,5, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 60,57. Kemudian untuk nilai post-test kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 78,33 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,28.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t nilai post-test didapati thitung sebesar 4,400 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 dan df sebesar 69 sedangkan ttabel dan taraf kepercayaan 95% (α=0,05) adalah 1,995. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak karena nilai dari t-test < 0,05 yakni 0,000 dan thitung 4,400 > ttabel 1,995. Sedangkan hasil analisis gain score (selisih) nilai pre-test dan post-test diperoleh thitung sebesaar 3,866 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 dan df sebesar 69. Sedangkan ttabel dan taraf kepercayaan 95% (α=0,05) adalah 1,995. Dengan begitu maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak karena nilai t test < 0,05 yakni 0,000 dan thitung 3,866 > ttabel 1,995. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X OTKP di SMKN 10 Surabaya, dimana hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajr kelas kontrol.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application problem based learning model to the learning outcomes of students in archiving lesson class X OTKP at SMKN 10 Surabaya in the academic year 2018/2019.
The type of this research is experimental research with a quasi (quasi experimental design) form of pre-test - post-test control group design. Conducted to all students in class X OTKP 1 (experiment) and X OTKP 2 (control). Data collection methods used are tests and documentation. Then to collect the data used instruments namely pre-test post-test and sheet documentation. For data analysis techniques using the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test.
The results showed that the completeness of student learning in the experimental class using the problem based learning model was better than the control class using the lecture method. In the experimental class the average value of the pre-test was 62.5, whereas in the control class it was 60.57. Then for the post-test scores the experimental class got an average value of 78.33 while the control class got an average value of 70.28.
Based on the results of the t-test analysis the post-test value was found to be 4,400 with a significance level of 0,000 and df of 69 while the t-table and 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) were 1.995. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because the value of t-test <0.05 is 0.000 and tcount 4.400 > ttable 1.995. While the results of the gain score analysis (difference) the pre-test and post-test values obtained tcount of 3.866 with a significance level of 0.000 and df of 69. While ttable and 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) is 1.995. That way, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because the t-test value < 0.05 is 0,000 and tcount is 3,866 > table 1,995. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the problem based learning model to learning outcomes of students in class X OTKP at SMKN 10 Surabaya, where the learning outcomes of experimental class students who use the problem based learning model are higher than those of the control class.
