KELAYAKAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN ARGUMENTASI PESERTA DIDIK SMA KELAS XI
THE FEASIBILITY OF STUDENT WORKSHEETS TO TRAIN ARGUMENTATION SKILLS OF XIth GRADE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat produk berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) untuk melatihkan keterampilan argumentasi peserta didik. Hal ini dikarenakan guru belum menaruh perhatian khusus dalam menerapkan keterampilan argumentasi pada proses pembelajaran, serta peserta didik tidak terbiasa melakukan argumen, sehingga membuat keterampilan tersebut kurang dilatihkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (RnD) yang dibatasi hingga tahap uji coba terbatas kepada 20 peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 1 Krian. Kelayakan LKPD yang dikembangkan ditinjau berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Hasil validasi berdasarkan aspek isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikan masing-masing sebesar 88,3%, 93,1%, 91,7%, dan 87,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan berdasarkan respon dan pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik mendapat hasil berturut-turut sebesar 93,9% dan 93,0% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif dan hasil pretest dan posttest keterampilan argumentasi mendapat hasil berupa ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%, serta terjadi peningkatan tes keterampilan argumentasi dan tes kognitif dengan rata-rata n-gain score mencapai 0,75 dengan kategori tinggi, dan dinyatakan sangat efektif. Berdasarkan rincian hasil yang telah diuraikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peneliti telah berhasil mengembangkan LKPD menggunakan tahapan TAP untuk melatih keterampilan argumentasi peserta didik yang dinyatakan sangat layak.

This study aims to make a product in the form of Student Worksheet (LKPD) with the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) to train students' argumentation skills. This is because the teacher has not paid special attention in applying argumentation skills in the learning process, and students are not used to making arguments, thus making these skills less trained. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD) which is limited to the limited trial stage for 20 students of class XII SMAN 1 Krian. The feasibility of the developed student worksheet is reviewed based on its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The validation results based on the aspects of content, presentation, language, and graphics were 88.3%, 93.1%, 91.7%, and 87.5%, respectively, which were included in the very valid category. Practicality based on the responses and observations of the activities of students got the results respectively of 93.9% and 93.0% with the very practical category. The effectiveness based on the completeness of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain and the results of the pretest and posttest argumentation skills obtained results in the form of classical completeness of 100%, as well as an increase in argumentation skills tests and cognitive tests with an average n-gain score of 0.75 in the high category, and declared very effective. Based on the details of the results described, it can be concluded that the researcher has succeeded in developing student worksheet using TAP stage to train the argumentation skills of students who are declared very feasible.
