Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang maksimalnya metode pembelajaran melukis sehingga peserta didik tidak bisa berkembang dan cenderung meniru. Peneliti bertujuan menerapkan metode bercerita sebagai upaya perbaikan dikarenakan dianggap sesuai dengan kondisi anak usia dini dimana bisa mempengaruhi daya ingat, emosi, serta kreativitasnya.
Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana penerapan metode bercerita dalam pembelajaran melukis, bagaimana tema lukisan yang dihasilkan, bagaimana karakteristik lukisan yang dihasilkan setelah penerapan metode bercerita.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penyajian data secara deskriptif. Data penelitian didapatkan dari karya lukisan kelompok B TK Ananda Ceria melalui metode bercerita yang dijelaskan melalui video di yotube peneliti, serta referensi buku terkait penelitian, berita online maupun offline. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis melalui teori gambar anak Victor Lowenfeld berdasarkan periodisasinya.
Hasil analisis ciri khas lukisan peserta didik menggunakan teori gambar anak Victor Lowenfeld yang berkaitan dengan metode bercerita melalui video di Youtube. Visualisasi tema lukisan dari metode bercerita yang diterapkan pada kelompok B TK Ananda Ceria sudah sesuai dengan makna lagu bintang kecil yang diberikan. Diterapkan ke dalam lukisan dengan berbagai macam cita-cita profesi. Mayoritas bercita-cita sebagai TNI sebanyak 4 orang. Cita-cita lainnya yang dilukiskan yaitu Dokter (2 orang), Masinis (1 orang), Polisi (1 orang), Pilot (1 orang), Artis (1 orang). Ditinjau dari ciri khas lukisan menurut Victor Lowenfeld. terdapat 4 peserta didik (40%) pada periodisasi prabagan, 2 peserta didik (20%) pada periodisasi bagan, dan 4 peserta didik (40%) sesuai dengan periodisasi keduanya. Perkembangan dari lukisan peserta didik mengalami kemajuan serta peningkatan dalam bentuk visual hasil karyanya, hal ini merupakan hal positif berdasarkan periodisasi gambar anak Victor Lowenfeld.

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal painting learning methods so that students cannot develop and tend to imitate. Researchers aim to apply the storytelling method as an effort to improve because it is considered in accordance with the conditions of early childhood which can affect memory, emotions, and creativity.
The formulation of the problem is how to apply the storytelling method in painting learning, how the resulting painting theme is, how the characteristics of the painting produced after the application of the storytelling method.
This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data presentation. The research data was obtained from the painting work of group B TK Ananda Ceria through the storytelling method which was explained through videos on YouTube researchers, as well as book references related to research, online and offline news. In this study using analysis through Victor Lowenfeld's children's picture theory based on the periodization.
The results of the analysis of the characteristics of the students' paintings used Victor Lowenfeld's children's drawing theory which is related to the storytelling method via video on Youtube. The visualization of the painting theme from the storytelling method applied to group B of Ananda Ceria Kindergarten is in accordance with the meaning of the little star song given. Applied to painting with various professional aspirations. The majority aspire to be TNI as many as 4 people. Other ideals described are Doctor (2 people), Machinist (1 person), Police (1 person), Pilot (1 person), Artist (1 person). Judging from the characteristics of the painting according to Victor Lowenfeld. There were 4 students (40%) in the pre-periodization period, 2 students (20%) on the chart periodization, and 4 students (40%) according to the periodization of both. The development of students' paintings has progressed and increased in the visual form of their work, this is a positive thing based on the periodization of Victor Lowenfeld's children's drawings.
