Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh Foam rolling dengan Cold water immersion dalam mengurangi kadar asam laktat dan efek Delayed onset muscle soroness pada otot quadricep. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 mahasiswa UKM Rugby Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Subjek dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 diberikan perlakuan Foam rolling dan kelompok 2 diberikan perlakuan Cold water immersion. Sebelum diberikan perlakuan RAST masing-masing kelompok diukur kadar asam laktatnya menggunakan alat ukur Acurrate lactat. barulah diberikan latihan RAST kemudian diukur lagi kadar asam laktatnya dan keesokan harinya setelah 24 jam diukur Delayed onset muscle soroness dengan alat ukur Visual analog scale (VAS). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengukur pengaruh adalah uji Wilcoxon test dan mengukur bedah adalah Uji mann whitney test dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest dan postest asam laktat pada perlakuan Foam rolling adalah 15,940 dan 12,020 uji efektivitas menunjukan penurunan sebesar 3,92 (p value : 0,005). Pada penelitian dengan perlakuan Cold water immersion menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest dan postest asam laktat pada perlakuan Cold water immersion adalah 11,840 dan 7,880 uji efektivitas menunjukan penurunan sebesar 3,96 (p value : 0,005). Perbedaan antara perlakuan Foam rolling dengan Cold water immersion dalam mengurangi asam laktat menghasilkan p value : 0,545 dan Perbedaan antara perlakuan Foam rolling dengan Cold water immersion dalam mengurangi Delayed onset muscle soroness menghasilkan p value : 0,294. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbandingan pengaruh antara Foam rolling dengan Cold water immersion dalam mengurangi kadar asam laktat dan Delayed onset muscle soroness.

Abstract
This study aims to compare the effect of Foam rolling with Cold water immersion in reducing lactic acid levels and the Delayed onset muscle soroness effect on the quadriceps muscle. This research is a experimental study with the design of One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. the subject of this study were 20 University of Surabaya UKM Rugby students. Subjects were divided into two groups. Group 1 was given the treatment of Foam rolling and group 2 was treated with Cold water immersion. Before being treated RAST each group measured its lactic acid level using a measuring instrument Acurrate lactate. then RAST training was given and then measured again the lactic acid level and the next day after 24 hours, Delayed onset muscle soroness was measured with a Visual analog scale (VAS) measuring instrument. The data analysis technique used to measure the influence is the Wilcoxon test and measure the comparison is the Mann Whitney test with a significant level of 5%. The results showed that the average value of lactic acid pretest and posttest on rolling Foam treatment was 15,940 and 12,020 effectiveness tests showed a decrease of 3,92 (p value: 0,005). In the study of Cold water immersion treatment showed that the average value of lactic acid pretest and posttest in Cold water immersion treatment was 11,840 and 7,880 the effectiveness test showed a decrease of 3,96 (p value: 0,005). The difference between the treatment of Foam rolling with Cold water immersion in reducing lactic acid produces p value: 0.545 and the difference between the treatment of Foam rolling with Cold water immersion in reducing Delayed onset of muscle soroness produces p value: 0.294. It can be concluded that there is no comparison of the effect of Foam rolling with Cold water immersion in reducing lactic acid levels and Delayed onset of muscle soroness.
