Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model problem based learning dan pengaruh keterampilan kolaborasi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dan dampaknya terhadap keseimbangan ekosistem bagi kelas X di SMKK Mater Amabilis Surabaya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperiment (eksperimen semu). Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Variabel dalam penelitian ini, variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan variabel bebasnya yaitu problem based learning dan keterampilan kolaborasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi lembar observasi dan tes tulis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu 2x45 menit pada kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) Pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui dua analisis. Analisis pertama, menguji perbedaan kemampuan awal (pretest) antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menggunakan t-test, diketahui nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,776>0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal kedua kelas sama atau tidak berbeda. Analisis kedua, menguji perbedaan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dan diketahui nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,001<0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Problem Based Learning berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. (2) Pengaruh Keterampilan Kolaborasi terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah melalui uji independent sample t-test dan uji regresi, hasilnya keterampilan kolaborasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa problem based learning dan keterampilan kolaborasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik, namun masih memerlukan penyesuaian dengan situasi dan kondisi di sekolah.

This study aims to describe the effect of problem based learning models and the effect of collaboration skills on students' problem solving abilities on environmental pollution material and its impact on ecosystem balance for class X at SMK Amabilis Vocational School Surabaya.
This research uses the Quasi Experiment method (quasi-experimental). The research design used in this study is "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". The variables in this study, the dependent variable is the ability to solve problems and the independent variables are problem based learning and collaboration skills. Data collection techniques include observation sheets and written tests. The data analysis technique used is the prerequisite test (normality test and homogeneity test) and hypothesis testing.
This research was conducted in two meetings with a time allocation of 2x45 minutes in the experimental class and the control class. The research data obtained as follows: (1) Effect of Problem Based Learning on problem solving skills through two analyzes. The first analysis, testing the difference in the initial ability (pretest) between the experimental class and the control class using t-test, it is known that the significance value of 0.776> 0.05 indicates that the initial ability of the two classes is the same or not different. The second analysis, examines the difference between the ability of problem solving in the experimental class with the control class and the known significance value of 0.001 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning has a positive effect on problem solving skills. (2) The Effect of Collaboration Skills on Problem Solving Ability through independent sample t-test and regression tests, the results of collaboration skills affect the students' problem solving abilities. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that problem based learning and collaboration skills affect the problem solving abilities of students, but still require adjustments to the situation and conditions at school.
