Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh model Product Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa terkait dengan elemen teknik pemesinan bubut, khususnya dalam Teknik Pemesinan Fase F di SMK Negeri 1 Jetis. Selain itu, penelitian juga bertujuan untuk menilai dampak penerapan model PBL terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam membuat produk Air Ventilator pada konsentrasi keahlian Teknik Pemesinan Fase F di SMK Negeri 1 Jetis. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan melibatkan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan Product Based Learning dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket penilaian kinerja dan tes sumatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Product Based Learning secara signifikan mempengaruhi pemahaman konsep siswa mengenai elemen teknik pemesinan bubut dalam Teknik Pemesinan Fase F di SMK Negeri 1 Jetis (nilai signifikansi 0.00). Selain itu, Model Product Based Learning juga berdampak signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menciptakan produk Air Ventilator, khususnya pada konsentrasi keahlian Teknik Pemesinan Fase F di SMK Negeri 1 Jetis (nilai signifikansi 0.00). Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga mengenai efektivitas Model Product Based Learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan praktis siswa dalam konteks pendidikan teknik pemesinan.

This study aims to explore the impact of the Product Based Learning (PBL) model on students' conceptual understanding related to machining elements, specifically in Phase F Machining Technique at SMK Negeri 1 Jetis. Additionally, the research evaluates the effect of applying the PBL model on students' ability to produce an Air Ventilator product within the Phase F Machining Technique specialization at SMK Negeri 1 Jetis. The research employs a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group using Product Based Learning and a control group using conventional methods. Research instruments include performance assessment questionnaires and summative tests.
The results indicate that the implementation of the Product Based Learning model significantly influences students' understanding of machining elements in the Phase F Machining Technique at SMK Negeri 1 Jetis (significance value 0.00). Furthermore, the Product Based Learning model also significantly impacts students' ability to create Air Ventilator products, particularly within the Phase F Machining Technique specialization at SMK Negeri 1 Jetis (significance value 0.00). This research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of the Product Based Learning model in enhancing students' conceptual understanding and practical skills in the context of machining education.
