ANALISIS HUBUNGAN GAYA BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI KELAS X IPS DI SMAN 16 SURABAYA
ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEARNING STYLES AND LEARNING MOTIVATION ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GEOGRAPHY SUBJECTS IN CLASS X IPS AT SMAN 16 SURABAYA
Hasil observasi pada saat PLP, siswa yang mengikuti PTS pada tiga kelas belum lulus KKTP sekolah yaitu 75, yang artinya siswa masih harus dilibatkan dalam kegiatan remidial. Rendahnya hasil belajar diduga disebabkan oleh kurangnya motivasi untuk belajar. Dibuktikan dengan masih adanya siswa yang kurang aktif belajar, bermain dengan teman seperti yang dijelaskan guru, tidak konsentrasi belajar, atau bahkan mencatat untuk menyontek saat ujian Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis 1) gaya belajar 2) motivasi belajar dan 3) hubungan gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IPS mata pelajaran Geografi di SMAN 16 Surabaya
Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini terdapat di SMAN 16 Surabaya. Populasi dan sampel penelelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPS SMAN 16 Surabaya yang berjumlah tiga kelas dengan total 97 Siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase dan korelasi pearson.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Gaya belajar kelas X IPS 1 dan X IPS 2 didominasi oleh gaya belajar visual dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 647,40 dan 69,77% dan gaya belajar kelas X IPS 3 didominasi oleh gaya belajar auditorial dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 67,03% 2) Motivasi belajar kelas X IPS di SMAN 16 Surabaya tinggi dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 78,80%, 78,92% dan 83,12% 3) Ada hubungan yang kuat sebesar 0,676 dan sangat kuat sebesar 0,928 antara motivasi dan gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05.

The results of observations during the PLP, students who took the PTS in three classes had not passed the school's KKTP of 75, which meant that students still had to be involved in remedial activities. The low learning outcomes are thought to be caused by a lack of motivation to learn. It is evidenced by the fact that there are still students who are less active in learning, playing with friends as the teacher explains, not concentrating on learning, or even taking notes to cheat on the exam The purpose of the study was to analyze 1) learning styles 2) learning motivation and 3) the relationship between learning styles and learning motivation to the learning outcomes of students in class X IPS Geography subjects at SMAN 16 Surabaya
This type of research uses quantitative descriptive method. The location of this research was at SMAN 16 Surabaya. The population and sample of the study were students of class X IPS SMAN 16 Surabaya which amounted to three classes with a total of 97 students. Data collection using questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive percentage and Pearson correlation.
The results showed that 1) Learning style of class X IPS 1 and X IPS 2 is dominated by visual learning style with an average percentage of 647.40 and 69.77% and learning style of class X IPS 3 is dominated by auditorial learning style with an average percentage of 67.03% 2) The learning motivation of class X IPS at SMAN 16 Surabaya is high with an average percentage of 78.80%, 78.92% and 83.12% 3) There is a strong relationship of 0.676 and very strong of 0.928 between motivation and learning styles of students on student learning outcomes indicated by a significance value of less than 0.05
