This study aims to describe the feasibility of ethno-science based
worksheets with guided inquiry learning models in food additives to train
science process skills based on validity, practicality and effectiveness. The
type of research used is development research using the RnD (Research and
Development) development model, but this research is limited to the development
study stage with limited trials. The study was conducted
on 36 students of class VIII-E Praja Mukti Middle School in Surabaya. Data
collection methods used are the validation method, observation method,
questionnaire method and test method. The results of the study obtained the
feasibility of LKS based on validity indicating that LKS 1 and 2 developed were
feasible to use with averages of 3.86 and 3.82, respectively. The results of
the study based on practicality showed that the worksheet developed was very
well used to train science process skills, obtained the percentage results of
the average learning implementation of 96.01% included in the excellent
category, the activity of science process skills students obtained the average
score of 81.66 which is included in the category of highly skilled, and student
response results obtained an average of 91.47% which is included in the
excellent category. The results of the study based on effectiveness show that
the student worksheet developed can improve students' science process skills
with an average N-Gain score of 0.73 in the very high category.
