KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA SMP DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA OPEN-ENDED DITINJAU DARI SELF-CONCEPT MATEMATIS SISWA
CREATIVE THINKING ABILITY OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SOLVING OPEN-ENDED MATHEMATICS REVIEW FROM STUDENTS' MATHEMATICS SELF-CONCEPT
ABSTRAK
Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu kemampuan berpikir yang harus dimiliki siswa, untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan soal matematika open-ended kepada siswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika open-ended ditinjau dari self-concept matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pemilihan subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari satu siswa dengan kategori self-concept matematis tinggi, satu siswa dengan self-concept matematis sedang, dan satu siswa dengan self-concept matematis rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket self-concept matematis, soal matematika open-ended, dan pedoman wawancara. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diantaranya metode angket, tes, dan wawancara. Serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis angket self-concept matematis, analisis soal matematika open-ended, dan analisis wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kefasihan siswa self-concept matematis tinggi dapat menuliskan tiga jawaban untuk ukuran panjang, dan lebar kolam renang, serta dua jawaban untuk luas kolam renang dengan benar, fleksibilitas siswa self-concept matematis tinggi dapat menggunakan tiga metode penyelesaian yang benar, dan kebaruan siswa self-concept matematis tinggi dapat menggunakan metode matriks yang belum diajarkan di sekolahnya. Kefasihan siswa self-concept matematis sedang dapat menuliskan tiga jawaban untuk ukuran panjang, lebar, dan luas kolam renang dengan benar, fleksibilitas siswa self-concept matematis sedang dapat menggunakan dua macam metode penyelesaian yang benar. Kefasihan siswa self-concept matematis rendah dapat menuliskan dua jawaban untuk ukuran panjang dan lebar kolam renang dengan benar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan bagi guru agar melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan memberikan soal matematika tipe open- ended.

ABSTRACT
Creative thinking ability is one of the thinking skills that must be possessed by students, to find out students' creative thinking skills can be done by giving open-ended math questions to students. The purpose of this study is to describe students' creative thinking skills in solving open-ended math problems in terms of students' mathematical self-concepts. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject selection technique used in this research was purposive sampling technique. The subject of this research consisted of one student with high mathematical self-concept category, one student with moderate mathematical self-concept, and one student with low mathematical self-concept. The instruments used include: a mathematical self-concept questionnaire, open-ended math questions, and interview guidelines. Data collection methods in this study include questionnaire, test, and interview methods. The data analysis techniques used, include the analysis of mathematical self-concept questionnaires, analysis of open-ended mathematical problems, and interview analysis. The results of this study indicate that in the fluency of student with high mathematical self-concept, studentscan write three answers down for the length and width of the swimming pool, as well as two answers for the area of the swimming pool correctly, in the flexibility of the student with high mathematical self-concept, students can use three correct completion methods, and in the novelty of high mathematical self-concept, students can use the matrix method that has not been taught in their schools. With moderate mathematical self-concept student, in the fluency, the student can write three answers down for the length, width, and swimming pool area correctly, in the flexibility, the student can use two kinds of correct solution methods. Low mathematical self-concept students' fluency, student can write two answers down for the length and width of the swimming pool correctly. The results of this study can be used as recommendation for teachers to train students' creative thinking skills by providing open-ended math problems.
