Analisis Daya Dukung Lingkungan Objek Wisata Alam Pemandian Air Panas Cangar, Kota Batu
Analysis of the Carrying Capacity of the Natural Tourism Object of Cangar Hot Springs, Batu City
OWA Cangar Hot Springs is one of the special tourist attractions in Batu City. Over the past five years OWA Cangar Hot Springs have experienced an increase in the number of visitors even though it is a pandemic year, this is feared to have the potential to damage the environment and reduce its quality. The purpose of this research is to analyze 1) The value of physical carrying capacity (PCC), 2) The value of real carrying capacity (RCC), 3) Capacity Management (MC), 4) The value of effective carrying capacity in the Cangar Hot Springs OWA area.
This research uses a quantitative descriptive type. Visitors to OWA Cangar Hot Springs are the population in this survey. The sampling method uses a random sample of 45 respondents taken by accidental sampling. Collecting data with field surveys, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study used the method (Cifuintes, 1992), namely calculating the physical carrying capacity (PCC), real carrying capacity(RCC), and effective carrying capacity(ECC).
Based on the study findings, the calculated value of physical carrying capacity (PCC) with a tourist area of 1.9 Ha is 1.335 tourists per day with a management capacity (MC) of 0.7, real carrying capacity (RCC) is 687 tourists per day, and effective carrying capacity (ECC) of 481 tourists per day. The results of this environmental carrying capacity analysis can be a consideration for the management of OWA Cangar Hot Springs in maximizing the number of tourist visits by being able to make efforts to increase tourist visits by 25% or 121 tourists per day.
