Pengaruh Implementasi Program Beasiswa Generasi Emas terhadap Peningkatan Kompetensi Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Surabaya

The Effect of Implementation of the Gold Generation Scholarship Program on Increasing Student Competence at Surabaya State University

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetaui adakah Pengaruh Implementasi Program Beasiswa Generasi Emas terhadap Peningkatan Kompetensi Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 variabel, pertama variabel X (Implementasi) terdiri dari enam sub variabel, yaitu ukuran dan tujuan kebijakan, sumber daya, karakteristik agen pelaksana, sikap/kecenderungan (disposition) para pelaksana, komunikasi antarorganisasi dan aktivitas pelaksana, lingkungan ekonomi, sosial, dan politik. Kedua variabel Y (Kompetensi) juga terdiri dari enam indikator, yaitu pengetahuan, pemahaman, kemampuan, nilai, sikap, dan minat. Populasi dari penelitian ini dari Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Surabaya dengan sampel 118 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket/kuesioner, dan data pendukung melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji asumsi klasik, pengujian hipotesis dan analisis regresi sederhana,.

Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel X  berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji t dan uji F, dimana hasil uji t nilai t hitung (8,417) > t tabel (1,980), dan nilai p-value (0,000) < sig 0,05 (5%). Sedangkan hasil uji F yaitu nilai F hitung (70,847) > F tabel (3,92), dan nilai sig (0,000) < sig 0,05 (5%). Sehingga H₀ yang menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh ditolak dan H_a yang menyatakan ada pengaruh diterima.

        This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the implementation of the Gold Generation Scholarship Program on Increasing Student Competence at Surabaya State University. This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach. This study consists of 2 variables, first variable X (Implementation) consists of six sub-variables, namely the size and objectives of the policy, resources, characteristics of the implementing agents, attitudes / dispositions of the implementers, communication between organizations and implementing activities, economic environment, social, and political. The two variables Y (Competence) also consists of six indicators, namely knowledge, understanding, ability, values, attitudes, and interests. The population of this study was from Surabaya State University Students with a sample of 118 respondents. Data collection techniques through questionnaires / questionnaires, and supporting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include the classic assumption test, hypothesis testing and simple regression analysis.

The analysis results can be concluded that the variable X influences the variable Y. This is indicated by the results of the t test and F test, where the results of the t test t value (8,417) > t table (1,980), and p-value (0,000) < sig 0.05 (5%). While the F test results are calculated F value (70,847) > F table (3.92), and sig value (0,000) < sig 0.05 (5%). So H0 which states no influence is rejected and Ha which states there is influence is accepted.
