ANLISIS KEMENANGAN TIM BERDASARKAN KALAH BALL POSSESSION (STUDI KASUS UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2022/2023) 

ANALYSIS OF TEAM WINNINGS BASED ON BALL POSSESSION LOSS (UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2022/2023 CASE STUDY) 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sebuah tim dapat memenangkan pertandingan meskipun kalah dalam persentase ball possession pada UEFA Champions League 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian mixed methods dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel berjumlah 15 pertandingan yang menganalisis kemenangan tim dengan kalah secara ball possession. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan teknik analisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hal-hal yang mempengaruhi hasil kemenangan tim berdasarkan kalah ball possession dari item yang diambil Efektivitas attempts at goal, complete distribution, succesfull defend. Yang mempengaruhi hasil akhir hanya efektivitas attempts at goal dan succesfull defend. Dari skema gol, gol yang banyak mempengaruhi hasil akhir terdapat 2 skema gol, yaitu lewat skema combinantion play dan counter attack Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ball possession memang merupakan hal yang penting dalam permainan sepakbola, namun tidak mutlak menjadi faktor penentu dalam kemenangan tim dalam suatu pertandingan. Ada faktor yang menjadi penentu kemenangan yakni effective attempts at goal, complete distribution, successful defend, dan goal scheme.

This research aims to determine the factors that influence a team being able to win a match even though it loses in ball possession percentage in the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League. This type of research uses mixed methods research methods with a descriptive approach. The sample consists of 15 matches that analyze team wins and losses in ball possession. Data collection techniques in this research include documentation and interviews with data analysis techniques using percentage calculations. The results of this research show that there are things that influence the team's winning results based on losing ball possession from the items taken. Effectiveness of attempts at goal, complete distribution, successful full defense. What influences the final result is only the effectiveness of attempts at goal and successful full defense. From the goal scheme, there are 2 goal schemes that influence the final result, namely through a combination play and counter attack scheme. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that ball possession is indeed an important thing in the game of football, but it is not absolutely a determining factor in winning. team in a match. There are factors that determine victory, namely effective attempts at goal, complete distribution, successful defense and goal scheme
