PENGARUH VARIASI DIMENSI COIL TERHADAP RESISTENSI PADA PRODUK MESIN COIL PREBUILD VAPE
THE EFFECT OF COIL DIMENSION VARIATIONS ON RESISTANCE IN PREBUILT VAPE COIL MACHINE
Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh variasi dimensi coil terhadap resistensi pada produk mesin coil prebuild vape. Peningkatan penggunaan rokok elektrik di Indonesia mendorong pentingnya analisis kualitas komponen, khususnya coil yang berperan sebagai elemen pemanas dalam proses penguapan cairan vape. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menganalisis coil Fused Clapton berbahan Nichrome Ni60 berukuran 26 AWG dan 28 AWG, serta variasi diameter coil sebesar 2 mm, 2,5 mm, dan 3 mm. Pengukuran resistensi dilakukan menggunakan ohmmeter, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar diameter lilitan coil, semakin tinggi nilai resistensinya. Diameter 2 mm menghasilkan resistensi rata rata sebesar 0,41 Ω, sedangkan diameter 3 mm menghasilkan resistensi rata-rata sebesar 0,49 Ω. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai hubungan antara dimensi coil dan resistensi, serta menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan mesin penggulungan coil otomatis untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk vape.

This study discusses the effect of coil dimension variations on resistance in prebuilt vape coil machine products. The increasing use of electronic cigarettes in Indonesia highlights the importance of analyzing component quality, especially the coil, which functions as a heating element in the vape liquid evaporation process. This research employed an experimental method by analyzing Fused Clapton coils made of Nichrome Ni60 with sizes of 26 AWG and 28 AWG, as well as coil diameter variations of 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm. Resistance measurements were carried out using an ohmmeter, and the results showed that the larger the coil winding diameter, the higher the resistance value. A 2 mm diameter produced an average resistance of 0.41 Ω, while a 3 mm diameter produced an average resistance of 0.49 Ω. This study contributes to enhancing the understanding of the relationship between coil dimensions and resistance, serving as a reference for the development of automatic coil winding machines to improve vape product quality.
