PENGEMBANGAN BUKU SUPLEMEN UNTUK KETERAMPILAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR
BOOK SUPPLEMENT DEVELOPMENT FOR DESCRIPTION WRITING SKILLS PRIVATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF CLASS IV
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan buku suplemen untuk keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dan mengetahui kualitas buku suplemen berdasarkan aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan lembar validasi pada aspek kevalidan dan lembar angket pada aspek kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian pengembangan buku suplemen menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan buku suplemen melalui lima tahapan yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, tahap evaluasi. Kevalidan buku suplemen diperoleh melalui proses validasi kepada dosen ahli yang menunjukkan hasil validasi media dengan nilai 85 dan hasil validasi materi dengan nilai 93. Sementara itu kepraktisan buku suplemen diperoleh melalui proses uji coba skala kecil yang menunjukkan hasil angket siswa dengan nilai 100 dan hasil angket guru dengan nilai 100. Berdasarkan kualitas pada aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku suplemen yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran menulis deskripsi untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.
The purpose of this study was to explain the process of developing supplement books for the skills of writing descriptions for fourth grade elementary school students and to find out the quality of supplement books based on their validity and practicality. This type of research is research and development using the ADDIE model. The data collection instrument in this development research used a validation sheet on the validity aspect and a questionnaire sheet on the practicality aspect. The results of research on supplement book development show that the supplement book development process goes through five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, the evaluation stage. The validity of the supplement book was obtained through the validation process for expert lecturers who showed the results of media validation with a value of 85 and the results of material validation with a value of 93.Meanwhile, the practicality of the supplement book was obtained through a small-scale trial process which showed the results of a student questionnaire with a value of 100 and the results of a teacher questionnaire. with a value of 100. Based on the quality of the validity and practicality aspects, it can be concluded that the supplement book developed is suitable for use in learning activities to write descriptions for grade IV elementary school students.
