Pengaruh Self efficacy dan Dukungan Sosial terhadap Stres Akademik pada Mahasiswa Akhir
The Influence of Self-efficacy and Social Support on Academic Stress in Final Year Students at Surabaya State University
Skripsi menjadi syarat kelulusan dalam dunia perkuliahan, seringkali dalam mengerjakan skripsi mahasiswa mengalami hambatan secara individu sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya stress akademik. Dinamika stres akademik dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, seperti self efficacy dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh self efficacy dan dukungan sosial terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan tiga instrumen self efficacy, dukungan sosial dan stres akademik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala likert empat poin jawaban dan melibatkan 374 responden. Data penelitian ini diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel stres akademik, self efficacy dan dukungan sosial memiliki kategori yang sedang cenderung ke tinggi. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy memberikan pengaruh sebesar -0.392 dan dukungan sosial memberikan pengaruh sebesar 0.113. Variabel self efficacy dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap stress akademik sebesar 37,9%. Nilai dari variabel (X1 dan X2) terhadap (Y) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 terbukti signifikan secara simultan.
A thesis is a graduation requirement in the world of college, often in working on a thesis students experience obstacles individually so that it can trigger academic stress. The dynamics of academic stress can be influenced by several things, such as self-efficacy and social support. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of self-efficacy and social support on academic stress in final year students through a quantitative approach using three instruments of self-efficacy, social support and academic stress. Data collection using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and involving 374 respondents. The research data was processed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the variables of academic stress, self-efficacy and social support have a moderate category tending to be high. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that self-efficacy has an effect of -0.392 and social support has an effect of 0.113. The variables of self-efficacy and social support have a simultaneous effect on academic stress of 37.9%. The value of the variables (X1 and X2) on (Y) is 0.000 <0.05 proven to be significant simultaneously.
