PROSES BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL STATISTIKA SMP BERBANTUAN MICROSOFT EXCEL

CREATIVE THINKING PROCESS OF STUDENTS IN SOLVING JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STATISTICS ASSISTED WITH MICROSOFT EXCEL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses berpikir kreatif siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif (TKBK) tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dan diapatkan 6 subjek dengan 2 subjek ditiap tingkat. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui tes penyelesaian soal statistika, tes penyelesaian soal statistika berbantuan Microsoft excel, dan tes wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan indikator berpikir kreatif, tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan reduksi data hasil wawancara untuk mengungkap proses berpikir kreatif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa proses berpikir kreatif siswa dengan tahapan mensintesis ide, membangun ide, merencanakan penerapan ide, dan menerapkan ide ditiap tingkat memiliki ciri-ciri yang berbeda dan semakin tinggi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, maka semakin kompleks penyelesaian yang dihasilkan. Siswa aktif dalam memanfaatkan Microsoft excel, baik sebagai alat bantu penyelesaian maupun memunculkan ide. Pada tahap mensintesis ide, siswa dengan TKBK Tinggi lebih kompleks dalam memunculkan ide dengan mengaitkan pada pengalaman belajar, dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada tahap membangun ide,  siswa dengan TKBK tinggi dan sedang dapat memunculkan 2 ide, siswa dengan TKBK rendah hanya memunculkan 1 ide. Pada tahap merencanakan penerapan ide, siswa dengan TKBK Tinggi produktif dalam memunculkan ide, siswa dengan TKBK Sedang kurang produktif dalam memunculkan ide, dan siswa dengan TKBK rendah tidak produktif dalam memunculkan ide. Pada tahap menerapkan ide, siswa dengan TKBK Tinggi yakin dengan jawaban dan cepat dalam memperbaiki kesalahan, sedangkan siswa dengan TKBK Sedang dan Rendah cenderung tidak yakin dengan jawaban mereka.

This study aims to determine the creative thinking process of students with high, medium, and low levels of creative thinking ability (LCTA). This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study type of research. The subject selection technique used a purposive sampling technique based on high, medium, and low levels of creative thinking ability and found 6 subjects with 2 subjects at each level. The data collection technique was carried out through a statistical problem solving test, a statistical problem solving test assisted by Microsoft Excel, and an interview test. Data analysis techniques use indicators of creative thinking, the level of creative thinking ability, and reduction of interview data to reveal students' creative thinking processes. The results showed that the process of students' creative thinking with the stages of synthesizing ideas, building ideas, planning the implementation of ideas, and implementing ideas at each level has different characteristics and the higher the level of students' creative thinking skills, the more complex the solutions produced. Students are active in utilizing Microsoft excel, both as a solution aid and to generate ideas. At the stage of synthesizing ideas, students with High LCTA are more complex in generating ideas by linking them to learning experiences and everyday life. At the idea-building stage, students with high and medium LCTA could come up with 2 ideas, students with low LCTA only came up with 1 idea. At the stage of planning the application of ideas, students with high LCTA are productive in generating ideas, students with medium LCTA are less productive in generating ideas, and students with low LCTA are not productive in generating ideas. At the stage of implementing ideas, students with High LCTA were sure of their answers and quick to correct mistakes, while students with Medium and Low LCTA tended to be unsure of their answers.
