Hubungan Self Regulation Learning dan Kesulitan Belajar Terhadap Tingkat School Refusal Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 10 Surabaya

The Relationship of Self-Regulation Learning and Learning Difficulties with School Refusal Level of Class IX Students of SMPN 10 Surabaya

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mencari dan mengetahui tentang hubungan antara self regulation learning (X1) dan kesulitan belajar (X2) dengan tingkat school refusal (Y) siswa kelas IX di SMPN 10 Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 10 Surabaya dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa. Sedangkan untuk teknik samplingnya menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala self regulation learning, skala kesulitan belajar, dan skala school refusal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni product moment correlation dan multiple product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji korelasi ketiga hipotesis nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000  untuk variabel self regulation learning dengan tingkat school refusal ditemukan dan nilai koefisien pearson correlation sebesar -0,687.  Untuk variabel kesulitan belajar dengan tingkat school refusal  nilai koefisien pearson correlation adalah  -0,694. Untuk Uji analis regresi variabel self regulation learning dan kesulitan belajar dengan tingkat school refusal nilai koefisien korelasi yakni 0,734. Berdasarkan hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik self regulation learning ataupun kesulitan belajar memiliki  hubungan yang kuat dan arah negatif atau bertolak belakang dengan tingkat school refusal siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Surabaya. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian yang ditemukan ini Guru BK atau Konselor bisa bekerja sama dengan orangtua maupun guru mata pelajaran untuk bersama-sama mencegah ataupun mengatasi perilaku menolak sekolah atau school refusal pada siswa secara aktif dan komunikatif. Sedangkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa lebih memperluas populasi dan sampelnya ataupun bisa meneliti terkait school refusal namun ditinjau dari faktor internal lainnya.

This research is a type of correlational quantitative research that aims to find and find out about the relationship between self-regulation learning (X1) and learning difficulties (X2) with the level of school refusal (Y) of class IX students at SMPN 10 Surabaya. This research was conducted at SMPN 10 Surabaya with a total sample of 80 students. As for the sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The data collection technique in this study used the self-regulation learning scale, the learning difficulty scale, and the school refusal scale. The data analysis technique used is product-moment correlation and multiple product moment. The results showed that the results of the correlation test of the three hypotheses had a significance value of 0.000 for the self-regulation learning variable with the school refusal level found and the Pearson correlation coefficient value of -0.687. For the variable of learning difficulties with the school refusal level, the Pearson correlation coefficient value is -0.694. For the regression analysis test of self-regulation learning variables and learning difficulties with the school refusal level, the correlation coefficient value is 0.734. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that either self-regulation learning or learning difficulties have a strong relationship and a negative direction or the opposite with the level of school refusal for class IX students of SMPN 10 Surabaya. Based on the results of the research found, BK teachers or counselors can work together with parents and subject teachers to jointly prevent or overcome school refusal behavior or school refusal in students actively and communicatively. Meanwhile, further research can expand the population and sample or research related to school refusal but in terms of other internal factors.
