Rancang Bangun Learning Management System (LMS) Sebagai Pengelolaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Project (PjBL) Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Pemrograman Web Server Side Scripting Pada Siswa Program Keahlian XII RPL 1 (Studi Kasus Di SMKN 2 Surabaya)

Design and Development of a Learning Management System (LMS) as Project Based Learning Management (PjBL) to Improve Web Server Side Scripting Programming Competence in Students of Skills Program XII RPL 1 (Case Study at SMKN 2 Surabaya)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan media pembelajaran Learning Management System (LMS) “BrainBoost” terhadap peningkatan kompetensi kognitif siswa dan psikomotorik siswa dalam pemrograman web server side scripting berbasis Project Based Learning (PJBL). Fokus penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan kompetensi pemrograman web server side scripting.

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah RND (Research and Developer). Model pengembangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan pengembangan yaitu : Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation.

Pembuatan website ini mengembangkan LMS MOODLE versi 4.4 menggunakan software vscode dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrogaman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) versi 8.1.25 dan JS (Java Script). Database menggunakan MySQL dan compiler online yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan CodeMirror versi 5. 

Hasil hipotesis pada uji coba tes kognitif dan tes psikomotorik menggunakan uji-T paired menunjukkan Nilai Sig. (2 tailed) <.001. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yaitu terdapat perbedaan siswa yang diajar menggunakan LMS dengan siswa yang tidak diajar menggunakan LMS pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web pada siswa kelas XII RPL 1 di SMKN 2 Surabaya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan dengan adanya LMS BrainBoost ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga mempengaruhi hasil tes kognitif dan tes psikomotorik siswa pada mata Pelajaran “Pemrograman Web Server Side Scripting”.

This research aims to explore the impact of using the Learning Management System (LMS) "BrainBoost" on the improvement of students' cognitive and psychomotor competencies in server-side scripting web programming based on Project Based Learning (PJBL). The focus of this research is the enhancement of server-side scripting web programming competencies.

This research is a type of study that uses a quantitative approach. The type of research used is RND (Research and Development). The research development model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 development stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

The creation of this website develops the LMS MOODLE version 4.4 using the vscode software with the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language version 8.1.25 and JS (JavaScript). The database uses MySQL, and the online compiler used is CodeMirror version 5. 

The hypothesis results from the cognitive and psychomotor test trials using the paired T-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value <.001. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is a difference between students taught using LMS and students not taught using LMS in the web programming subject for class XII RPL 1 students at SMKN 2 Surabaya. Thus, it can be concluded that the presence of the LMS BrainBoost significantly influences the learning process, thereby affecting the cognitive and psychomotor test results of students in the subject "Server Side Scripting Web Programming."
