THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL KNOWLEDGE ON THE LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION OF PKK MOTHERS IN THE CLIMATE VILLAGE PROGRAM (PROKLIM) IN PERAK BARAT VILLAGE, SURABAYA CITY

Perubahan iklim menjadi isu lingkungan yang memberikan berbagai dampak. Berdasarkan data kategori program kampung iklim diketahui bahwa Kelurahan Perak Barat satu-satunya yang mendapatkan kategori Proklim pratama di tahun 2022. Penelitian ini hanya meneliti hubungan tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap partisipasi ibu-ibu PKK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat partisipasi ibu-ibu PKK, menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan lingkungan dengan tingkat partisipasi ibu-ibu PKK serta menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap tingkat partisipasi Ibu-ibu PKK pada program kampung iklim di Kelurahan Perak Barat Kota Surabaya.

Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall tau-b untuk menguji hubungan secara parsial dan uji korelasi Kendall W Test untuk mengukur hubungan secara simultan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling dan besaran sampel sebanyak 48 responden yakni ibu-ibu PKK. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan instrumen tes untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan partisipasi dengan (p-value = 0,117), terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan lingkungan dan partisipasi dengan (p-value = 0,009), terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan lingkungan secara bersama sama terhadap tingkat partisipasi dengan (p-value = 0,000). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini antara tingkat pendidikan dan partisipasi memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,178 yang bernilai negatif menunjukkan tingkat hubungannya sangat lemah, nilai koefisien korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan lingkungan dan partisipasi sebesar 0,63 yakni bernilai positif menunjukkan tingkat hubungan kuat, nilai koefisien korelasi antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan lingkungan secara bersama sama terhadap tingkat partisipasi sebesar 0,658 yang menunjukkan tingkat hubungan kuat.

Climate change is an environmental issue that has various impacts. Based on data from the climate village program category, it is known that Perak Barat is the only one that will receive the Proklim pratama category in 2022. This research only examines the relationship between education level and environmental knowledge on the participation of PKK mothers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between education level and the participation rate of PKK mothers, analyze the relationship between the level of environmental knowledge and the participation rate of PKK mothers and analyze the relationship between education level and environmental knowledge to the participation rate of PKK mothers in the climate village program. in the Perak Barat of Surabaya City.

This type of research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. Data analysis used the Kendall tau-b correlation test to test the relationship partially and the Kendall W Test correlation test to measure the relationship simultaneously. Sampling technique using proporsional random sampling and a sample size of 48 respondents, namely PKK mothers. Data collection uses questionnaires and test instruments to measure the level of knowledge.

The results showed that there was no relationship between education level and participation with (p-value = 0.117), there is a relationship between the level of environmental knowledge and participation with (p-value = 0.009), there is a relationship between the level of education and knowledge of the environment together with the level of participation with (p-value = 0.000). The conclusion in this study between the level of education and participation has a correlation coefficient of 0.178 which is negative indicating the level of the relationship is very weak, the value of the correlation coefficient between the level of environmental knowledge and participation is 0.63 which is a positive value indicating a strong level of relationship, the value of the correlation coefficient between the level of education and environmental knowledge together to the level of participation of 0.658 which indicates a strong relationship level.
