The
Lamongan Healthy and Prosperous Program with Home Visits (LASERKU) is one of
the priority programs of the Lamongan Regency Government in an effort to
improve the degree of public health through direct health services to
residents' homes. This study aims to describe the implementation of the LASERKU
program in Karangsambigalih Village, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency and
identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study
uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through
in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants in this
study include the person in charge of the program, health workers, village
officials, volunteer cadres in each hamlet, and the community receiving the
LASERKU program's services.
The
results of the study showed that the implementation of the LASERKU program in
Karangsambigalih Village was quite effective in accordance with the standard
operational procedure guidelines, including home visits by health workers to
monitor the condition of the elderly who live alone, underprivileged people who
suffer from chronic diseases, low-income socio-economic class people who have
not been recorded as JKN, and people who live at home who are not healthy.
Supporting factors in the implementation of this program include support from
the village government, active participation of volunteer cadres in each
hamlet, and good community acceptance. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are
the limited number of health workers, the geographical conditions of the
village which are quite wide, and the lack of awareness of some people on the
importance of routine health check-ups.
Based
on these findings, it is recommended that local governments increase the number
of health workers in the village, increase the routine schedule of targeted
community examinations, conduct continuous socialization to increase public
awareness in maintaining personal health and the environment, and conduct
continuous socialization to increase public understanding of the impact of
participating in the Laserku program.
