Analysis of Textile  Waste Recycle (Lace and Tulle) for Making Girls' Toddler Party Dresses

Abstrak

Industri tekstil menjadi salah satu sumber penghasilan pemerintah Indonesia dan penopang perekonomian daerah. Namun, limbah tekstil sebagai produk sampingan perlu dikelola dan dimanfaatkan supaya lebih bermanfaat dan mengurangi tingkat polusi lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan produk busana pesta balita perempuan hasil recycle limbah kain lace dan tulle, 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil analisis busana pesta balita dengan bahan baku limbah kain lace dan tulle. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif, dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Instrumen penelitian  berupa daftar cek list dokumen berdasarkan proses pembuatan produk dan angket analisis produk busana pesta balita perempuan. Responden sebanyak 3 orang yakni, 2 orang pemilik butik dan satu orang pengerajin limbah tekstil. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: 1) proses pembuatan busana pesta balita dari limbah lace dan tulle, meliputi: memilih limbah lace dan tulle yang akan digunakan,  membuat desain; membuat pola; memotong kain; memberi tanda pola pada bahan; menjahit busana; penyelesaian busana, 2) hasil analisis responden terhadap produk busana pesta balita perempuan recycle lace dan tulle dari aspek  kesesuaian desain, bahan serta nilai jual, sebagai berikut: untuk aspek kesesuaian bahan yang memperoleh presentase tertinggi pada bahan lace desain ketiga (89,58%) dan tulle desain kedua (97,92%);aspek kesesuaian desain yang memperoleh presentasi tertinggi pada bahan lace desain kedua dan ketiga (94,44%) dan tulle desain ketiga (94,44%); serta aspek nilai jual busana yang memperoleh presentase tertinggi pada bahan lace desain kedua (94,44%) dan tulle desain kedua (100%).Dengan demikian pengolahan limbah tekstil dengan cara recycle (daur ulang) berbasis masyarakat dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu upaya pengolahan limbah tekstil.

Abstract

The textile industry has become one of sources the Indonesian governments income and supports the regional economy. However, textile waste needs to be managed and utilized to be useful and reduce the environments pollution. The purpose of this study is : 1) describe the process of making products for toddler girls' party clothes from recycled lace and tulle fabric waste, 2) describe the results of toddler party clothes analysis with raw materials of lace and tulle fabric waste. This research is a type of descriptive research, by using the collection method that is, documentation and questionnaire techniques. The research instrument was in the form of a checklist of documents based on the process of making products and a product analysis questionnaire for toddler girls' clothes. Respondents were 3 people that is, 2 boutique owners and one textile waste craftsman.

. Data analysis method used descriptive analysis method. The results of the study stated that: 1) the process of making toddler party f clothes from lace and tulle waste, including: choosing lace and tulle waste to be used, making designs; making patterns; cut cloth; mark the pattern on the material; sewing the clothes; and finishing of clothes, 2) the results of the respondents 'analysis of recycle lace and tulle girls' party clothes from the aspects of design suitability, material and selling value, as follows: For the aspect of suitability of materials that obtained the highest percentage in the third lace design (89.58%) and the second design tulle (97.92%); the aspect of design suitability that received the highest presentation in the second and third lace design (94.44%) and the third design tulle (94.44%); and the aspect of the selling value of clothing which obtained the highest percentage of the second lace design (94.44%) and the second design tulle (100%). Thus textile waste treatment by way of community-based recycle can be implemented as one of the efforts to treat textile waste.
