APLIKASI BORDIR KOMPUTER 3 DIMENSI PADA GAUN MALAM DENGAN SUMBER IDE ILALANG

3-DIMENSIONAL COMPUTER EMBROIDERY APPLICATION ON EVENING GOWN WITH REEDS IDEAS SOURCES

Ilalang kerap kali dipandang sebelah mata. Ilalang atau rumput liar sering dianggap sebagai tumbuhan pengganggu atau gulma, karena sifatnya yang mudah tumbuh dimana saja di lahan yang kosong. Ilalang memiliki keistimewaan pada batangnya yang pendek dan bunganya memiliki susunan bulir menguncup serta terdapat rambut halus menyerupai bulu yang mudah diterbangkan oleh angin. Sumber ide tersebut dapat tercipta gaun malam three piece yang terdiri dari jumpsuit, dress luaran, dan rok layer dengan menggunakan manipulating fabric aplikasi bordir komputer 3 dimensi sebagai perwujudan sumber ide ilalang. Bordir komputer merupakan teknologi terbaru saat ini sehingga pengerjaannya lebih mudah dan cepat sesuai desain yang diinginkan. Tujuan penulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan, pengaplikasian teknik aplikasi bordir komputer 3 dimensi serta mengetahui hasil jadi pada gaun malam. Metode rekayasa karya dimulai dari menentukan sumber ide dalam bentuk moodboard, perencanaan warna dan bahan, mendesain gaun, proses pembuatan gaun malam, proses pembuatan aplikasi bordir komputer 3 dimensi dimulai dengan membuat desain motif pada komputer dan kemudian diterapkan pada gaun malam. Hasil perwujudan gaun malam dengan menerapkan manipulating fabric aplikasi bordir komputer 3 dimensi menghasilkan busana yang terlihat tampak nyata, indah dan elegan.

Reeds is often underestimated. Reeds or weeds are often considered as pests or weeds, because they are easy to grow anywhere in an empty field. Reeds has a special feature on its short trunk and the flower has a tuft shape with fine hair like feathers which is easily flown by the wind. Through this source of ideas can create a three-piece evening gown consisting of jumpsuit, outer dress, and layer skirt using manipulating 3-dimensional computer embroidery fabric application as a manifestation of the source of reeds ideas. Computer embroidery is the latest technology at this time so that the process is easier and faster according to the desired design. The purpose of this paper is to know the manufacturing process, the application of 3-dimensional computer embroidery application techniques and to know the finished results on an evening gown. The method of engineering work starts from determining the source of ideas in the form of moodboard, color and material planning, designing dresses, the process of making evening gowns, the process of making 3-dimensional computer embroidery applications begins by making motif designs on computers and then applying them to evening dresses.The result is an evening gown by applying a manipulation fabric 3-dimensional computer embroidery application to produce clothing that looks real, beautiful and elegant.
