Brainstorming merupakan strategi pembelajaran untuk menciptakan gagasan atau ide kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) berbasis brainstorming untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi virus yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate), namun tanpa tahap Disseminate. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan analisis kurikulum, materi, tugas, dan siswa dilanjutkan dengan perancangan dan pengembangan LKS di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Pada tahap akhir, dilakukan evaluasi kelayakan LKS berdasarkan data validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan LKS. LKS yang telah dikembangkan diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 16 siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Gresik pada Bulan Februari dan Maret 2019. Hasil validasi para pakar menunjukkan bahwa LKS memperoleh skor modus 4 (sangat valid). LKS dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan persentase keterlaksanaan LKS sebesar 95,91%. Data keefektifan diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan akhir untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa, serta melalui respons siswa. LKS yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat efektif dengan persentase rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan respons siswa berturut-turut sebesar 87,5%, 82,85% dan 96,67%. Disimpulkan, LKS berbasis brainstorming dapat melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif karena dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Brainstorming is a learning strategy for creating creative ideas. The objective of this research was to produce student worksheet based on brainstorming in virus material to train 10th grade student creative thinking skill which was worthy reviewed of the validity, practicality and effectivity aspects. This research adapted 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but without the Disseminate stage. The research stage was begun curriculum, subjects, task, and students analysis then continued with design and development stage in Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Finally, the worthy of student worksheet was evaluated according to validity, practicality and effectiveness aspects. The developed student worksheet was then implemented limitedly to sixteen 10th grade students of SMA 1 Gresik in February and March 2019. Validation result by experts and biology teacher showed that the worksheet stated very valid with validity mode value 4. The worksheet was stated very practical with observation result of student worksheet implementation with practical value 95.91%. The effectivity data were obtained from final ability test to describe learning outcomes and student creative thinking skill, and students response after conducting learning processes using student worksheet. The worksheet that had been developed was stated very effective with the average percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes, creative thinking skills, and student responses respectively at 87.5%, 82.85% and 96.67%. Overall, the brainstorming strategy based worksheet was declared valid, practical, and effective to be used in learning activities.
