In conclusion, teacher’s speech acts hold crucial role in the creation of learning opportunity. The five types of speech acts were used based on the functions they carried. In language learning both input and output should be taken into into consideration, suggesting that conversational interaction was an important means for learners to gain access to comprehensible input as well as for opportunities to produce linguistic output. From this fact, the consideration toward the role of language in classroom interaction should be raised. The speech act use should also be involved in the curriculum design and in the process of TEFL course. The classroom language need to be introduced to English teachers because of the fact that speech act use is highly context dependent.
