ANALISIS PENERAPAN NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN MELALUI KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER TARI ANAK USIA DINI
ANALYSIS OF APPLICATION OF DISCIPLINE CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES THROUGH EARLY CHILDREN DANCE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Penting bagi anak-anak untuk memiliki pendidikan formal dan informal agar dapat mengembangkan karakter anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kegiatan ekstrakurikuler mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter disiplin pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kasus kualitatif dengan 7 partisipan dari TK ABA 14 Surabaya, termasuk kepala sekolah, satu guru kelas, satu guru tari, satu orang tua, dan tiga anak kelompok awan. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk menganalisis data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan nilai pendidikan karakter dapat membantu menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin; (2) peran guru sebagai fasilitator berkontribusi pada penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari; (3) faktor pendukung penerapan nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin sekolah memberikan fasilitas tempat yang nyaman; faktor penghambat adalah suasana hati anak yang kurang baik, kurangnya keselarasan antara orang tua dan guru dalam penerapan nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin.

It is important for children to have formal and informal education in order to develop children's character. The purpose of this study was to understand how extracurricular activities affect the development of disciplinary character in early childhood. This study used a qualitative case study methodology with 7 participants from ABA 14 Surabaya kindergarten, including the principal, one class teacher, one dance teacher, one parent, and three cloud group children. Data collection methods include interviews, observation, and documentation. An interactive method developed by Miles and Huberman was used to analyze the research data. The results showed that (1) The application of character education values can help instill the values of discipline character education; (2) the role of teachers as facilitators contributes to the application of these values through dance extracurricular activities; (3) supporting factors for the application of the value of school discipline character education provide comfortable place facilities; Inhibiting factors are the child's poor mood, lack of harmony between parents and teachers in the application of the value of discipline character education.
