PROFIL KREATIVITAS SISWA SMP DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA TERBUKA DITINJAU DARI SELF EFFICACY

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kreatifitas siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika terbuka ditinjau dari self-efficacy. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Surabaya yang telah mempelajari materi bangun datar. Tes self-efficacy, dan tes pemecahan masalah digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berpikir kreatif siswa. Triangulasi dilakukan untuk menguji kredibilitas data yang telah diperoleh. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.

          Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kreativitas siswa dengan self-efficacy tinggi, siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kreatif yaitu 1) Kefasihan, ditunjukkan dengan mampu menghasilkan jawaban benar lebih dari satu 2) Keluwesan, ditunjukkan dengan mampu menggunakan lebih dari satu cara berbeda 3) Kebaruan, ditunjukkan dengan mendapatkan jawaban menggunakan bangun datar yang semuanya tidak dikenal namanya yang tidak meniru orang lain, tidak biasa digunakan oleh siswa itu sendiri dan asli idenya sendiri. Dengan demikian profil berpikir kreatif siswa SMP berpengaruh pada penyelesaian masalah matematika terbuka. Oleh karena itu guru disarankan untuk lebih banyak memberi latihan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika terbuka.

            This study aims to describe the profile of students' creative thinking in mathematics open-ended problem solving viewed self-efficacy. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Surabaya who had studied the plane surface. Self-efficacy test, and the Mathematics Ability Test (MAT) tests are used to collect student creativity data. Data Triangulation was used for verify the credibility of the findings. Data analysis was done by following stage : data reduction, data display, and conclusion.

            The results showed that the creative thinking profile of students with high self-efficacy and students with low self-efficacy fulfilled all indicators of creative thinking namely 1) Fluency, demonstrated by being able to produce more than one correct answer 2 ) Flexibility, shown by being able to use more than one different method 3) Novelty, shown by getting answers using a flat shape that are all unknown names that do not imitate others, are not commonly used by students themselves and the original idea itself. Thus the profile of junior high school students' creative thinking affects the resolution of open mathematical problems. Therefore teachers are advised to give more practice to develop students' creative thinking skills in solving open mathematical problems.
