Anak autis memiliki salah satu hambatan yakni interaksi sosial. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan anak autis mengalami kesulitan dalam berinteraksi sosial di lingkungan masyarakat. Sehingga, dibutuhkan strategi yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial anak autis. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan social stories. Selain itu, perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju dengan dibuktikan adanya handphone. Banyak manfaat yang diperoleh dari handphone jika, dilengkapi dengan jaringan internet dan berbagai fitur lainnya, khususnya pada handphone android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media social stories berbasis android dalam pembelajaran interaksi sosial anak autis dan untuk mengetahui kelayakannya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R & D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE yang dilakukan hanya sampai tahap Development (pengembangan), karena tujuan peneitian ini hanya sebatas mengembangkan dan menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran yang layak untuk diimplementasikan berdasarkan penilaian validator. Terdapat dua validator dalam penelitian ini. Pertama ahli materi berjumlah satu orang yang berkompeten dalam bidang materi social stories berasal dari dosen jurusan Pendidikan Luar Biasa Unesa, sekaligus pengampuh mata kuliah intervensi anak dengan spektrum autis. Kedua ahli media berjumlah satu orang yang berkompeten dalam bidang pengembangan media pembelajaran mencakup desain dan teknis berasal dari dosen jurusan Pendidikan Luar Biasa Unesa.
Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner/angket. Aspek penilaian dari segi materi meliputi aspek materi, aspek kebahasaan dan aspek keterlaksanaan. Sedangkan aspek penilaian dari segi media meliputi aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak dan aspek komunikasi visual. Hasil dari penilaian ahli materi terhadap media social stories berbasis android memperoleh persentase 84,6% kategori baik, dengan keterangan layak memerlukan revisi ringan. Sedangkan penilaian ahli media memperoleh persentase 77,8% yaitu kategori baik, dengan keterangan layak memerlukan revisi ringan. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli media social stories berbasis android dapat diujikan kepada siswa secara terbatas, setelah kekurangan media tersebut diperbaiki.

Children with autism have one obstacle, namely social interaction. It can cause autistic children to have difficulties of social interaction in the community. Furthermore, it is needed a strategy which can develop autistic children's social skills. One of them is by using social stories. In addition, technological developments are increasingly which is proven by mobile phones. Many benefits are obtained from mobile phones, if it is completed with internet networks and other features, especially on android mobile phones. The purpose of the study is to develop social stories media based on Android in learning social interactions of children with autism and to determine the eligibility.
This research is a research and development (R & D) study by using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The ADDIE model development research is carried out only to the Development stage, because the purpose of this study is only to develop and to produce a learning media that is suitable to be implemented based on validator's assessment. There are two validators in this study. First, one material expert who is competent in the field of social stories material who comes from Extraordinary Education lecturer in Unesa, as well as an influential subject for the intervention of children with autism spectrum.The second is from a media expert who was competent in the field of developing instructional media including design and technical who comes from Extraordinary Education lecturer in Unesa too.
Data collection techniques was questionnaire. The aspects of evaluation in terms of material consist of material aspects, linguistic aspects and implementation aspects. However, aspects of the assessment in terms of media consist of software engineering aspects and visual communication aspects. The results of the material expert assessment of Android-based social media stories obtained a percentage of 84.6% which is a good category, with proper information requiring minor revisions. While, the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage of 77.8% which is a good category, with proper information requiring minor revisions. Based on the test results by media experts, Android-based social stories can be tested to the students on a limited basis, after the weakness of the media are fixed.
