PENGARUH PERMAINAN BOWLING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SIMBOL HURUF HIAJIYAH PADA ANAK KELOMPOK A USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI TK BAHRUL ULUM SURABAYA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan anak dalam membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah pada anak kelompok A di TK Bahrul Ulum Surabaya dengan benar. Penyebab hal tersebut karena kurang adanya inovasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Salah satu cara yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah dengan baik yaitu dengan menggunakan permainan bowling huruf hijaiyah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh permainan bowling terhadap kemampuan membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah pada anak kelompok A usia 4-5 tahun di TK Bahrul Ulum Surabaya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen menggunakan jenis Quasi Eksperimental Design jenis Non equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian jenis ini menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 32 anak kelompok A TK Bahrul Ulum yang terdiri dari 16 anak kelompok eksperimen kelas A2, dan 16 anak kelompok kontrol kelas A1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi nonpartisipan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus Mann-Whitney U-Test, dengan rumus U_hitung < U_tabel dan Wilcoxon Matched – Pairs Signed Rank Test, dengan rumus T_hitung < T_tabel.

Hasil perhitungan menggunakan rumus Wilcoxon Matched – Pairs Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai T_hitung = 0 lebih kecil dari T_tabel dengan taraf kesalahan 5% dengan N= 16 = 30 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa  T_hitung < T_tabel yaitu (0 < 30). Selanjutnya menggunakan rumus Mann Whitney U Test yang menunjukkan data yang sudah dianalisis yaitu U_hitung = 16, U_tabel = 66, dimana dengan syarat perbandingan jika U_hitung < U_tabel (16 < 66) maka H₀ ditolak dan H_a diterima. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dapat dinyatakan bahwa adanya pengaruh permainan bowling terhadap kemampuan membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah kelompok A di TK Bahrul Ulum Surabaya, pengaruh pada anak yaitu 1) meningkatkan anak dalam membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah alif-ra’ dengan baik dan benar, yang awalnya anak tidak bisa membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah alif-ra’. 2) anak mampu membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah secara urut dan acak, dan 3) anak mampu memasangkan simbol huruf hijaiyah dengan tepat.

Berdasarkan analisis data dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh permainan bowling huruf hijaiyah terhadap kemampuan membaca simbol huruf hijaiyah anak kelompok A di TK Bahrul Ulum Surabaya.

THE EFFECT OF BOWLING GAMES ON THE ABILITY OF READING SYMBOLS OF HIJAIYAH LETTER IN STUDENTS’ GROUP A OF CHILDREN 4-5 YEARS AT BAHRUL ULUM KINDERGARTEN SURABAYA

                This research is motivated by the lack of children's ability to read the symbols of the hijaiyah lettersof group A children in the Bahrul Ulum Kindergarten Surabaya correctly. The reason for this is because there is a lack of innovation in the learning activities provided by the teacher. One of the way that can stimulate the ability to read symbols of the hijaiyah letter properly is by using the hijaiyah bowling game. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the game of bowling on the ability to read symbols of the hijaiyah letters in group A children aged 4-5 years in Bahrul Ulum Kindergarten Surabaya.

This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental design using Quasi Experimental Design type Non equivalent Control Group Design. This type of research uses two groups, the experimental group and the control group. The subjects of this study were 32 children in the group A Bahrul Ulum Kindergarten consisting of 16 children in the experimental group from A2 class, and 16 children in the A1 class control group. Data collection techniques use nonparticipant observation techniques and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the Mann-Whitney U-Test formula, with the formula U_CountTable and Wilcoxon Matched - Pairs Signed Rank Test, with the formula T_CountTable.

The calculation results using the formula of Wilcoxon Matched - Pairs Signed Rank Test show that the value of T_count = 0 is smaller than T_table with an error rate of 5% with N = 16 = 30 so it can be concluded that T_counttable is (0 <30). Then when using the Mann Whitney U Test formula which shows that the data that has been analyzed is U_count = 16, U_count = 66, when the comparison conditions U_CountTable (16 <66) it means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the analysis of data that can be stated that the influence of the game of bowling on the ability to read symbols of the group A letter hijaiyah in Bahrul Ulum Kindergarten Surabaya, the influence on children is 1) increase the child in reading the symbols hijaiyah alif-ra 'letters properly and correctly, which was originally a child can't read the symbols of the hijaiyah alif-ra letter '. 2) children are able to read the symbols of the hijaiyah letters in order and randomly, and 3) the child is able to correctly match the symbols of the hijaiyah letters.

Based on data analysis, it can be stated that there is the influence of the hijaiyah letter bowling game on the ability to read symbols of the hijaiyah letters of group A children in Bahrul Ulum Kindergarten, Surabaya.
