PROFIL BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL AKM NUMERASI DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF VISUALIZER DAN VERBALIZER
PROFILE OF STUDENT'S CRITICAL THINKING IN SOLVING AKM NUMERATION QUESTIONS FROM VISUALIZER AND VERBALIZER COGNITIVE STYLE
At this time the world of education has entered the era of the 21st century, where all the abilities that students will have are all oriented to the ability called "The Four C's" or 4C, these abilities are critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. This study aims to describe how the critical thinking picture of students who have visualizer cognitive style and verbalizer cognitive style in solving AKM Numeration questions. This study took two subjects who had the same gender, the same level of mathematical ability, and different cognitive styles. Critical thinking data and interview data were collected using a mathematical ability test, cognitive style questionnaire, and interview guidelines through written tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that visualizer students are able to meet all categories of critical thinking in solving AKM Numeration questions, namely the categories of clarification, assessment, inference, and strategy, while verbalizer students are only able to meet several categories of critical thinking, namely the category of assessment and inference.
