In modern
times, language skills are very important, remembering that to achieve a goal
that is desired by each individual is very necessary language skills. One of
the language skills that is very influential on life is communication skills.
That's why communication skills are very important for every individual to
have. In this study, the aim is to find out the effectiveness of the Quiz-Quiz
Trade and Inside-Outside Circle learning methods for the storytelling ability
of Grade VII students of SMPN 2 Gumukmas in the academic year 2019/2020. Data
collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. This type of
research is experimental, using the Quasy experimental model.
Based on
research conducted, it can be seen differences in students' storytelling skills
before and after learning methods are applied. On the results of data analysis
can be known differences in storytelling skills based on learning outcomes
obtained by students. The results obtained show that Ha = There is a difference
in student learning outcomes in telling idol figures after using the Quiz-Quiz
Trade (QQT) and Inside-Outside Cirlce (IOC) learning model. The results
obtained from the implementation of the study were calculated using the t test.
From the t test value it can be concluded that the significance level of 5%
with a degree of freedom 23 or equal to 3.42 and obtained t value of 1714. In
group A the results of t table can be seen that there is no significant
difference between pre-test and post-test. Therefore Ha = acceptable.
